    That was my trainer. If you don't know to click your seatbelt and need to be told in a video, you deserve to fail...
    I passed my tests (verbal and driving) from this man (Levelle) training me on my first exam and now drive a tour bus.
    Secret: I knew to click my seatbelt from when I got my first drivers license when I was 16.......

      when i tested last week, If i sit in drivers seat for any reason (even to open the door) i had to put seat belt on and cover the brake pedal...

      I just passed my CDL-B exam with passenger and air brake and school bus endorsements…I knew I could do it so I did it…you have to believe in yourself…

      i just passed my Air brakes, full vehickle inspection, driving, backing test and it was a lot of memorization but was possible, Im 53 years old too

    Woah, a suburban seating RTS? I’ve never seen one setup like that before. All the ones I drove had standard transit seating

      Yes VERY rare but golden gate transit ran them for many years

      @@Chicagoguy1984 Pretty rare now because most all of them are retired, but quite a few agencies had Suburban RTS’ once upon a time. NYC had 200+, Detroit, Cobb County GA, several California agencies are just a few among them.

    All ways willing to learn something new! If I can't find info one place threw research . so I can Be a easy train to instructors once I move from one. Position to another I'll learn info threw another source else were! And apply what I learn were ever I'm am. Or simply go were I learn info if chances are not available! Were I am nice training video

    This is the standard test for a Class B w/ Passenger endorsement and Airbrakes.
    If you didnt have to do all of this plus a written and a driving skills test, youre either #1 Not from California
    #2 Youre not a driver
    #3 Youre just trying to comment to fit in.

    Hmmmm..Applied test. he did not release the parking brake after applying the service brake peddle. And something about the guy on the left in the bluejeans is very distracting.

      When you have up to 56 passengers lives in your hand, maybe you want to pre-trip the tire pressure, leaks, tread, broken or cracked rims etc.
      Its just a job, but people rely on you to get them to their destination safely.

      @@смиренный-х2б , you dealing with airbreaks, sir. If you don't Pre-Trip the bus, especially performing the Airbreak Test, you can lose Air Pressure, and cause major fatalities. Pre-Trip the bus without exception.

    FAILED (No seatbelt) DOT REGULATION. If you were to take this with an DOT Inspector and you don't click your seatbelt you would be failed 100%.

      @@fargeeks that's not an auto fail. When doing the leak down test you have to turn the bus off and then turn the switch back to Night Run so the warning buzzers activate when needed.

      @@fargeeks you don't do that part of the air brake test with the engine running. Once you do the cut in and out you are to cut the engine off and turn on the ignition only.. This is the part of the test where you need to have the wheel chocked if it's not already because you'll be releasing the parking brake.

    You have 18 minutes to complete the Pre-Trip, we were trained at Metro to do it in 13 minutes. The front right tire failed (thread depth).

      If failed then how did i pass my driving test IN THAT SAME BUS?
      No, depth was fine.
      Bus was fine and Lavelle was a great teacher.
      Quit looking for failures.
      Look for positives you can use to assist you in your test.
      Your school should teach you.

      @@thetonydolesshow2519 , Did I say anything about you? The fact is that DMV don't check for tire thread depth, duh? And this was just a simple observation from my point of view, okay? I give you a little advice, when driving the bus your passagers is going to say things100% worst than this simple innocent observation. Learn to ignore things and move on, because reality going to step through your bus door every single time you stop to pick up a passager. 🤔 P.S. I have been Bus Driver for 27 years, and I'm happy that you passed and that you now driving a tour bus.

    My goodness. American buses look so old fashion compare the what ous do. (Norwegian busses) They look even older than ours did in the 1980s.... I've been to the USA many times, and as a bus driver myself, this is interesting. Here are some links to some random Norwegian buses from the '80s...     Just feel like the industry just push n push these driver with out really giving them the real knowledge about a proper Know how also the students have no idea but other wise do to what they are train too do n nope not bAnging on classes for I have onces been in the same shoes walk the same walk what makes me upset is the industry that push the student too hurry up and some of the bus driver have got certified buy there company not but school didn't have too go thew DMV training

      85 psi. He was saying the governor cut in at 90psi. It can be no lower than 85psi.

    Your door handle is really badly placed, not ergonomic at all. Wouldn't see myself driving this 40 hours a week, will end up with severe elbow or shoulder pain.

      Sir, you realize drivers drove these things just like this almost 20 years!! It didn't matter what bus you drive. If you make this a career you will have body injuries by the time you retire.. Driving anything 8 -16 hours a day is physically draining and body damaging

      the busses i drive have a 5 position handle.. but this bus appears to be a retired bus that they use for training due to its age.. probably works fine
