I really respect the effort Nana has put into improving her vocals. She was a model/dancer and with that face she don't really need good singing skills to be famous and earn quite alot. She went from no lines, to a few low pitch lines, then mediocre singing to getting a song of her own, and started to singing higher tones, and now she just a goddess.

Only those idols who can act well in drama and movies are popular and rich. NANA is filming in 'roommates'. Since she's a rookie actress, they only gave her a discount of the rental as the payment for her acting in their show. People outside korea may hard to believe five members of AS are still have no money to rent an apartment and have to live together. This rental discount makes NANA willing to film the second season... I think this is why korean groups willing to accept any offer in japan and china. It's hard to make a life in korea as idol....
