    very nice lesson but the swing and follow through is just as important .. currently trying to swing THROUGH with the body leading as well but the impulse of trying to HIT the ball is still tough to overcome.. awesome lesson and the core leading the backswing is spot on! keep the lessons coming we appreciate it

      You’re right, the correct back swing will set up the correct down swing through motion

    all those years i thought i was learning how to golf. now i realize that the instruction i received used the wrong muscles.

    Thank you Coach Lawrence for another of your excellent video about the true golf swing. I have been trying to apply your methodology and this video has given me more insights. My challenge is how to generate the momentum that you described and let the hips, core and obliques turn. My fast twitch muscles (shoulder) as you mentioned is still dominant. Can you please share some tips how to suppress the fast twitch muscles. Is it to relax my shoulders, arms and wrists? Thank you.

The other missing puzzle for me is how to activate my hips and abs/oblique which you mentioned in one of your videos are inactive and under utilized for many weekend golfers who are using arms instead. Can you please share your advice and other videos or drills which will help me to activate my hips, abs and oblique. Thank you for your great teaching.
