I got to be at that one. It was my second favorite Ravens game behind only the 2012 divisional against the Broncos. The emotional rollercoaster was incredible and that much snow around here is always a special experience.
I was at that Vikings game in Baltimore! It was nothing but snow and ice. It brings back such good memories, my dad died in 2020 and I will always remember my dad buying these 50 yard line, first row, behind the Ravens bench for so much money and once it started snowing he got up and spent the rest of the game in the heated merchandise store while I'm freezing my balls off in our seats. Loved that game and makes me smile every time I go to a Ravens game after he passed.
Of course they had the 'Ring Of Fame', with all the legendary former Cowboys' names posted. Certainly watching many a game on television there, I saw in person, two games. The first, was a Monday night game in '79, between the Eagles and the 'Boys, in which Philly prevailed, with Eagle kicker Tony Franklin booting a then stadium record field record of 59 yds. Then, on T-Giving day, 1983, on a moments notice while residing in Mesquite Texas, I attended the Cowboy/Brown game. Good memories.
Props to Derrick Mason, I remember he played this game with some arm/shoulder injury and after every catch he basically had to get to get over to the sideline grimacing. Still made a bunch of important catches and a huge fumble recovery. Guy never got enough respect but he was probably the first in the line of "tough veteran possession receivers who lost their speed" that includes Boldin and Steve Smith Sr.

At the time, both teams were desperately fighting for the last playoff spot in their respective conference. The Cowboys fell flat on the faces, losing this game, then getting blown out by the Eagles next week eliminating them from playoff contention. The Ravens meanwhile went to the AFC Championship game. Just shows what good leadership and discipline can do for your squad!

To make matters worse, they had another chance to clinch a playoff spot the next week…and they were blown out by Philly. In the preseason, they were prematurely tagged as SB contenders. lol
despite all this…the Cowboys still had a chance to make the playoffs with a win in the season finale in Philly. They ended up getting blown out in embarrassing fashion.
