    Four touchdowns in the final four minutes of the game. Crazy finish. Somewhat reminiscent of a game the Ravens would play five years later against the Vikings

      I got to be at that one. It was my second favorite Ravens game behind only the 2012 divisional against the Broncos. The emotional rollercoaster was incredible and that much snow around here is always a special experience.

    • @DustinPlatt
      @DustinPlatt ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I was at that Vikings game in Baltimore! It was nothing but snow and ice. It brings back such good memories, my dad died in 2020 and I will always remember my dad buying these 50 yard line, first row, behind the Ravens bench for so much money and once it started snowing he got up and spent the rest of the game in the heated merchandise store while I'm freezing my balls off in our seats.
      Loved that game and makes me smile every time I go to a Ravens game after he passed.

      Of course they had the 'Ring Of Fame', with all the legendary former Cowboys' names posted. Certainly watching many a game on television there, I saw in person, two games. The first, was a Monday night game in '79, between the Eagles and the 'Boys, in which Philly prevailed, with Eagle kicker Tony Franklin booting a then stadium record field record of 59 yds. Then, on T-Giving day, 1983, on a moments notice while residing in Mesquite Texas, I attended the Cowboy/Brown game. Good memories.

    Props to Derrick Mason, I remember he played this game with some arm/shoulder injury and after every catch he basically had to get to get over to the sideline grimacing. Still made a bunch of important catches and a huge fumble recovery. Guy never got enough respect but he was probably the first in the line of "tough veteran possession receivers who lost their speed" that includes Boldin and Steve Smith Sr.

    I always forget how good tony romo really was. Always drove the team down the field and scored in the final minutes to put the game away. But it was always the defense that blew it. If romo had an elite defense he would have a ring no doubt. I don’t even like the cowboys but for some reason I miss watching tony romo sling the rock...

      @Ryan Irwin- Diehl I never said he was great. I’ll fully admit that he could never win the big games when it mattered most. I’m just emphasizing that he could’ve won a lot more games if it wasn’t for his poor defenses. With that being said, I think he’d have a ring if he had a better team

    • @t-gotitanup9386

      Even if the team went 5-11 the year before the Ravens were still a nasty defense with Ed, Ray, Nghatta, Suggs I mean this is the team that almost spoiled the perfect season before the Giants did in the Super Bowl. So for Jerry to cherry pick the Ravens was still a head scratcher not to offend the Redskins fans but I would of rather played the Redskins to end Cowboy Stadium magical run especially their rivalry and got the Ravens somewhere else that season but knowing the Cowboys they would of found a way to lose to whoever was picked for the End Of Texas Stadium

    Imagine how much the playoff bracket would've been altered if Dallas won this game:
    (AFC)
    - BAL out
    - NE in
    (NFC)
    - DAL in
    - PHI out
    The Ravens and Eagles both wreaked havoc as wild card teams, taking out each conference's #1 seed. I would think the playoffs would've developed very differently in this scenario.
