Scrapping certainty gives you access to stuff no one else gets to see. Did it for years until my back surgery"retired" me. It always amazed me what people call trash.
Same here. Put the alcohol crap in a new generator, a hour later, the alcohol had eaten up the gaskets and it was puking gas. Retuned the generator, got a new one, non-alcohol gas in the tank, no problems since.
Just like where I used to live that one once a year they had trash day people put out a whole bunch of trash out in front of house and truck and come pick it up. I was driving by I noticed a stereo I picked it up right at home work like a charm, so yeah, I know people throw away stuff. They didn’t know anything about.
People throw their stuff mighty healthy lol around here they throw their stuff out when its totally done for with no hope of getting running good score iceman and nice going on getting it running
I'm north of Austin's sprawl, but I change the fuel filter on the mower every year. I also run the mower dry of gas around the end of October and disconnect the battery. That bit me in the but a couple of years ago, and had to run the mower in December. That's a lot like my riding mower, except ours has the battery under the seat and the fuel tank is where your battery is.
Billy Ray got bugs 🐛 😳 😂? Wasps are not fun. Had a kitty that didn't hesitate to swat Yellow Jackets. 😮😅😅. She hat extra toes and would quickly hit them with eight toes and knock them out.😅
Is there any chance, that the owner of these things you fix, might see this film. And want it back? That would be would be hilarious. I'd love to hear ya reaction.. Great film again garth. All the best to yall. 👍👍
The pull rope is on the right side, I just saw the handle when you went by with the camera! 😂 I had one just like that. Kick myself for trading it for a new one.
When you say "Someone threw this into the trash", do you mean the dump such as a city or county dump? Well if i would have watched to the end of the end of the video, then my question would have been answered.
@@garthsgraveyardgarage So the owners call someone and have that someone clean up the yard of junk? Sorry, I am trying to get my mind wrapped around throwing good things away.
One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Good job Garth! Keep them videos coming can’t get enough of them!
Man you're lucky to have iceman as a friend
Thanks for sharing.
Wow dude! You can fix most anything!
I cant believe you got that 3500 dollar polaris for free they sell for 1500 with a blown engine I'm jelly
I think that one is more like 5k up here at the local Polaris dealer new. 😊
Don't lose your foot there Garth. 😮😮

Great video Gareth ..Pat from Downpatrick North of Ireland
Your a good man to Redo that stuff we love your videos we will always watch
Yep, always a fuel issue. Little patience and time and usually a cheap fix. Another great video garth. Thanks for your time and effort!
I'm a Montana scrapper, it's amazing what you can find.
Woohoo, 2 for 1! Nice score on the Polaris!
I was so excited to see a video from ya'll, that I stayed up past my bedtime! 🤪
Awesome video. Thank you for sharing and I hope to see more videos like this along the side with the vehicle videos!

Yeah Garth that's a V-Twin that's a good motor
Happy Valentine's Day to you and your girls
I always use non ethanol fuel in my yard machines and pressure washer well worth the extra cost

The bar in the back of the Craftsman riding mower is for the canopy my grandfather had one with a canopy just like that one
Didn't know that was a thing. Very cool!
@@garthsgraveyardgarage mostly on higher models canopy was just two poles with a piece of fabric scratch out on hot day kept u cool mowing acres
On that solenoid in the mower you can just clip that deal off. It’s just an anti backfire. Runs fine without it. 90’s “safety” feature.
Also you don’t need to clutch with that style shifter.

On that deck there is a return spring to pull that pulley back. Just a couple bucks but it’s needed. They go mia all the time.
It's there, but very crusty!
@@garthsgraveyardgarage I’ve had to pull that whole assembly off and polish it before to make it right. It’s temperamental when not working right.
Id definitely be keeping the Polaris.

When you put air into the tank I heard that cat wasn't releasing the pressure it you might have a stopped up vented cat

Interested in the 4 wheeler .
😁👍👍
Hey Garth I think the cat's not ventilated
The cat?
Awesome video brother just to let you know my Trans went out on my Chevy suburban on Friday so I'm going to junk it out
If it's a 4L60 it doesn't surprise me!
@garthsgraveyardgarage it is I don't have the cash for another one so that's is why I'm scraping it
Hi when are you posting the part of helping the young mother as I been waiting to view. From Rick down under
Hopefully soon! We're still working on and filming it.

I ended up finding it later 😁

In this case, no. They called to have their yard cleared of old junk.
@@garthsgraveyardgarage So the owners call someone and have that someone clean up the yard of junk? Sorry, I am trying to get my mind wrapped around throwing good things away.
@@truthreigns7 It is crazy what people just want to get rid of isn't it?
@@LoriTwichell yes I so agree
There is nothing easy to repair on any Polaris
Sounds like a rod nock
That noise is the plastic cover on the left side of the engine. Apparently it's a common problem with these.
The reason people throw things like away is that they have more dollars than sense
Sometimes that is the case as well.
