@@LowtusMob while that is true, after f2nd they lost interest. sure, the story mode was interesting and the songlist was solid, but the pvs were all reduces to just...the vocaloids dancing on custom stages; the medleys mostly made up for this with new versions of older songs and stuff, they were the most fun content from the game imo
if I had to guess, maybe it would be a storage issue? future tone is a bigg game since it's a ported version of the arcade, so it had to live up to the expectations an arcade port would have, so to save storage and processing power with 200+ games they made some cuts on the rendering and dynamic lighting definitely not my favorite to admit because I adore the rendering in f2nd but they had to make do somehow
It adds the changed PV ver as separate songs with identical charts (Also adds Kagerou Daze as FT doesn't have it) It does nothing to the original PD09 + PD2 PVs as well as the Soltitude's End 2DMV
broh what happened to the lighting in FT usually FT has the better realistic lighting but it was so bad in the original it was lacking everything it usually has. EDIT: F2nd will always be the superior version obviously, her hands are massive ass hands and better proportioned, and she had more emotion on her face. Also the lighting is just amazing in the F2nd version. this is one of those where the FT version DID NOT AGE WELL
They're lazy and they love PD09 and PD2. And because of the laziness, all but 3 of the X song roster never made it to FT (LOL Lots of Laugh and Hand in Hand were added to AFT prior to X's release, and The First Sound was from PD2)

Modded ones look much better, i'm curious why didn't sega made it better themselves...

sega was making arcade copies thats why they dont port the f2nd ones
