    Great problem. Got a very close answer using Yc, Ixc, and A formula for a trapezoid given in the manual. Approx 16,040 in^4

    why couldn't we have just used the Ixc formula for trapezoidal shapes, and then add the deltaY*A?
    [ (h^3*(a^2+4ab+b^2))/36(a+b) ] + dy^2*A

      he said on the video that he could solve it using the trapezoid formula but he solved it using the breakdown method in order to apply different kinds of shapes

    Hello, thanks so much for your videos it so much helpful. I just have one question concerning how you find dy, shouldn't it be dy= yc(total shape)- yc (the specific shape) instead of using yc of specfic shape?
