Ahoy my friends! Today I am bringing you guys all the news from the newest week patch for Ever Crisis!! And that is going to include Tifa in a smokin hot new costume repping the best Magic Fire weapon in the game alongside Barret with his new Sharkslayer!! I've pulled as soon as I saw the banner. A Tifa fire Arcanum costume and a magical fire weapon was, what I was hoping for. ^^ (Since I'm still struggling with Shiva EX2.) Now she has a ice, water, lightning and fire arcanum, physical mastery, debuff+ extension and a heal costume. As for the pulls... It took me a total of 21K crystals (2x 1 stamp and 5x two stamps) to get the costume. But I sadly didn't receive a single banner weapon aside from the guaranteed one. >.< Plus 2 gold ones that I really didn't need and 3 from my wish list.
P.S. The design of her bikini reminds me of seashells and she has a dolphin limit break... so I think the name is pretty fitting. What makes it less fitting, however, is the fire arcanum. A water arcanum would have fit the theme better. But she has already covered this Arcanum with her bunny gloves. (But fortunately we can apply this design to her water build as well.)
I used 18k crystals and managed to get Tifas new outfit. I only managed 1 copy of her weapon but got 3 copies of Barretts weapon, along with some decent WL items. I am now saving again for either Vincent or the 1yr anni.
For those of us who missed zack and a Tifa fan, this is great. At the same time, I'm sorry vincent. I'm bit sad that there isn't a bonus added to any of these weapons for the current event.

I need her for my shiva ex team! XD Re the costume name, it might have been inspired by Aphrodite, the greek goddess of love and beauty, who was born from seafoam and carried to shore on a scallop shell, so you're right about the Grecian influence, but if I'm right, it means the name also didn't come outta nowhere haha (even though Aphrodite was never depicted as a mermaid that I know of, she was born of the sea)! This is just my opinion tho, I might just be looking too deep with tinfoil hats on.

My wallet feels after getting that new Tifa costume after just dropping on the Tifa and aerith redo for swimsuits 😂 but the new Tifa looks like it will help with my shiva ex attempts fire magic weapon and fire arcana. And woot woot got 244 rank on the last challenge 🥳🥳 I didn’t try too hard so good enough.
@@BodhiJMSRyder killed shiva ex1 with the new costume and 1 copy of the new weapon at level 110 after about an hour of playing with the build … ended up used Zack as backup dps ifrit sword and twinkling star for matk down while silenced and fire breach materia. used aerith with monster hunter weapon to cure-all materia slot and mdef high. With saving grace as a backup mdef because the monster hunter weapon has an hp condition for mdef. And used new Tifa weapon and costume with bahamut knuckles for sigil break. I just didn’t have enough magic fire dmg before because I missed the Zack costume and weapon the videos referenced and had trouble depleting first gauge until now - the new weapon and costume definitely made the difference. I can finally continue to boost shiva skill tree to help with b90 🥳🥳-
Not sure why you are get so excited when it comes to event weapons. Giant Fork (matt) Featherscatter (lucia) Oven Mitts (tifa) These event weapons have exact the same R abilities like hell house.
I get excited because not every player has these and they give them the opportunity to finally catch up at least a little. Doesn't have anything to do with me, but with people who could really use them.
@@BodhiJMSRyder This game is actually focused on newbies. They get everything what they need to clear the content. Thats my point. After a few months of active gameplay event weapons will just become useless inventory spam. We have this exact same R abilities on 5 event weapons now. Besides that there is no content where these weapons are mandatory. No one ever has said 'Uhh fuck when do we get giant fork again'. I stuck completely. The better criticism would be. Why doesnt applibot respect limited weapons anymore. I mean once a weapon is finally op10 its basically outdated. Which makes event weapons even more useless and not worth to talk about it. Because event stuff is excluded from this insane power creep.
Tifa's new stuff will definitely be great for those who missed out on Zack's lb weapon, and who've not yet beaten ex2 Shiva. Though for people like me who have Zack's gear and beaten Shiva ex2 it's definitely not worth it. Ended up with rank #30 in the score event;) Really nice they brought back the HH event weapons for those who missed them.
Miffed that this banner doesn't count for the event bonus. I've submitted a bug report in hopes it was an error, as I've been skipping the event outside of initial clears and daily free stages as a result of the wait.
This is the easiest no brainer must pull, both for the looks and both weapons S tier. Glad I skipped MH tifa because this is much better because you can Wishlist and get parts for. Even better than half anni zack. Glad I have 127k saved for tifa and Vincent
@@wiseguise5960 I spent 15k for MH just for OB1 Kamura and got out. My rule now is never chase limited DPS weapons, if you don't get lucky you will get drained big time. I got fucked on FF9 and regret spending 70k with a OB4 Zidane. tbh, all crossover are traps unless they have good utility weapons like Kamura or Kuja which is ok at low OB.

Just think, this time next year all of the elemental weapons will likely have the same base damage as Zidane's Sword. A blue crystal saved today is worth exponentially more the longer you hold it. I'm going to be skipping fire Tifa and Vincent, in hopes the anniversaries treat me well.
I am not really a costume guy but man this Tifa's outfit is god dang goooood. Best one for Tifa so far I reckon. I personally don't have a Fire Magic DPS yet.
This is massive bait. It hurts so bad. I missed out on Cloud Limit break banner, went all in on Sephiroth. I wanted to go all in on both, just couldn't. Got to fortify hard for the anniversary. Im not sure how much gem i will need, but i will set it at 140k. I got 69k atm...will i make it in time?🤔
If you're a F2P player you'll probably have around 120K by Anni and if you're a Season Pass spender more like 140 or so. yeah it's a huge bait but damn its a good one
I am a simple man -- I see a Tifa costume, I pull. No Fire arcanum yet on my account + its an amazing looking costume just makes it better. Want it. Need it. Will have it. A Barret sailor costume in this stamp card would have been the ultimate crystal sink. Applibot had the chance to ruin everyone before Vincent/Anniversary.
I would hope for a copy of the Barrett weapon because I feel like that might be handy for ex shiva but probably not in this banner… tifa weapon is nice for sure and makes me feel better that I didn’t end up pulling Zack’s limit break kne
I think Barrets Sharkslayer is the winner of this banner. I think people should pull for one copy and bounce. To have water resist AND fire resist down mid potency with ONE copy and 3 atb cost is very good. Plus it has diamond sigil. You use gems on weapons that bring a lot of value. This weapon is one of those. Yes you can wish list the weapon but if you are going to potentially skip vincent and save pulling for 5 stamps makes more sense. Tifa's weapon is great because it gives Magic Fire potency an easier time to cap. Wish list this weapon if you have Zacks LB.
They are both really good. But yeah there is currently no reason to pull Barret's weapon as no content could use it except maybe Shiva EX2 even which we have things to handle the diamond sigil break, so i'll just WL it later.

It may be a long time before that happens. There is no boost PATK / MATK with boost HP. Cloud's Buster Sword boost ATK and HP is the only weapon that does this which makes it special.
Giving Tifa’s gloves more damage than limited time Zack is (while not surprising) disappointing bait. Sure, what you want from his weapon is the Magic boost to all, but still. Devalued that “limited” status quite a lot and so quickly to boot.
Cant believe they powercrept magic fire zack so soon, and the multiplier on this glove is higher than kirin which is a limited banner. Really dont understand how appliot works
I spent my last 2k red crystals on the 1 time banner pull and got a Heavy Hausser which I already had at OB10+2.... I have decided not to spend any more money on this game. I feel like I got screwed out of the top 10 spot in the ranked event because of the maintenance they had to do. Adding an extra day on the event gave people more time to come up with strategy and I got dropped to 13th. Im not saying I would have definitely stayed in top 10, but still the fact they gave everyone an extra day definitely diminished my odds and I am not happy with that.
Aw man i'm really sorry to hear that =\ But yeah i might be switching to F2P or Season Pass Minnow just because i feel like the game is built around whales and light spenders aren't really rewarded as most of the time you're still short on things
@@BodhiJMSRyder I might still get the season pass, but they need to do better in not breaking their game every time an update comes out. That's mainly why I am deciding to stop purchases. I've spent prob a little over $1000 on this game and seeing that last game breaking emergency maintenance just really made me wonder what they are using my money for?

They really can't go one month without a new Tifa skin, huh? Starting to get ridiculous, bet she'll get a fes wep and skin for first. This game is starting to play way too much favoritism to 5 characters and it's becoming annoying, like why use any other character if it ain't the main 5? If they can't go 1 month without a new costume or weapon for Cloud, Zack, Tifa, Aerith or Sephiroth, they should just shut it down before second Anni because they'll run out of ideas to milk these units by then. Spiteful skip on this idgaf.
Yeah i'm in agreeance with you here. They're just going to burn out everyone on the same characters tbh. I love Tifa, but i think the game would be way better if they balanced it out. It's currently being geared more and more towards whales, so even as a light spender i feel like i'm not really seeing the value of spending money
The main thing I'm really gathering from Ever Crisis is the error in making costumes have significance outside of cosmetics. It's starting to show that the devs or the one making the final calls at least, doesn't actually care about the game in terms of balance and mechanics and would rather make as much money as quick as possible, rather than continually make money over time. And yes, ultimately they are a business and they want to make money but you make more money by keeping your player base and not draining them. We'll see what the next few months look like but, a quick look online and there's 1/3 of the units still with only 2 costumes and associated weapons, with 5 units having three times more than those 1/3, it's starting to become a little telling as we approach the 1 year anni.
Starting? It's always been like this. Aerith at one point had more costumes than Cloud lol. I think now Tifa and Aerith have the same amount of costumes

its the red xiii version of wind/water from Silver Collar. Only its fire/water. I definitelyr ecommend these for 3atb.

the only thing the limited has over that now, is the mag up boost to the entire team :/ Guess Zacks the off/support mag dps for Tifa now :(
Zack will still hold up just fine against any content in the game currently with his LB weapon at the same OB level as Tifa's

The base multiplier is the same - 940% at OB10. Difference is Kirin does self magic boost with 50%+ hp and shell knuckle does 1.2% multiplier at 70%.
the only + zack's weapon has over this one now, is that it boosts the partys mag. other than that, im a lil upset since i main Zack :(

Quit the game about a week ago, knew the new TIfa costume would be stellar, but I dont miss the game.
Ah yeah i was wondering because i tried to place you in guilds and saw you weren't in the Discord anymore =( Anyways, i feel you mate, the game needs major improvements. Should have stayed in the Discord though for future book announcements! Who knows, maybe you'll end up loving to read fantasy adventure tales =)

They really can't go one month without a new Tifa skin, huh? Starting to get ridiculous, bet she'll get a fes wep and skin for first. This game is starting to play way too much favoritism to 5 characters and it's becoming annoying, like why use any other character if it ain't the main 5? If they can't go 1 month without a new costume or weapon for Cloud, Zack, Tifa, Aerith or Sephiroth, they should just shut it down before second Anni because they'll run out of ideas to milk these units by then. Spiteful skip on this idgaf.
Yeah i'm in agreeance with you here. They're just going to burn out everyone on the same characters tbh. I love Tifa, but i think the game would be way better if they balanced it out. It's currently being geared more and more towards whales, so even as a light spender i feel like i'm not really seeing the value of spending money
The main thing I'm really gathering from Ever Crisis is the error in making costumes have significance outside of cosmetics.
It's starting to show that the devs or the one making the final calls at least, doesn't actually care about the game in terms of balance and mechanics and would rather make as much money as quick as possible, rather than continually make money over time.
And yes, ultimately they are a business and they want to make money but you make more money by keeping your player base and not draining them. We'll see what the next few months look like but, a quick look online and there's 1/3 of the units still with only 2 costumes and associated weapons, with 5 units having three times more than those 1/3, it's starting to become a little telling as we approach the 1 year anni.

Ye totally agree it is getting ridiculous… like yes we love centralizing on one unit but like there are only 2 weapon cmd and one costume at a time😆
Starting? It's always been like this. Aerith at one point had more costumes than Cloud lol. I think now Tifa and Aerith have the same amount of costumes
