Ninja Speedi (or air fryer) Cornbread

Cornbread in the air fryer (Ninja Speedi)? You betcha!! This recipe is virtually foolproof, very easy and delicious. Finally, a way to easily and quickly whip up a great cornbread to have with dinner. Give it a try and leave comments below about how it worked out for you.
RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1 Box of Jiffy Cornbread Mix
1 Egg
1/3 Cup of Milk
2 Tablespoons room temperature butter
1 Partial teaspoon of cayenne pepper (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat your Speedi (or air fryer) to 325 degrees (f) on the bake/roast setting. On the bake/roast setting, the fan runs slower than on air fry and will not tend to dry out your cornbread.
Mix all ingredients in a bowl until thoroughly blended. Pour your batter into a greased/sprayed pan which will fit into your Speedi and leave enough space surrounding it so as to allow hot air to circulate (link below for a perfect size disposable pan on Amazon). Close the lid and make sure the timer is set for 20 minutes.
After 10 minutes, open the Speedi and check your progress. If all looks good, continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes and check again. Test for doneness by inserting a toothpic or probe into the cornbread and make sure it comes out clean. I have found that a total cooking time of 17 minutes is perfect, but your Speedi could be at a slightly different temperature.
Once done, remove and allow to cool before cutting.
