Currently the Dead Silence detection ranges are mixed up, non upgraded class is giving the upgraded class detection range and the other way round. This is happening for all areas that affect the Dead Silence ranges. I cannot believe this is on purpose as it would make the class the only one where the upgrade actually is a downgrade! Geez. I use Ninja all the time. I hadn’t realized how much I really didn’t know about this class until I viewed this video. Also didn’t know they nerfed dead silence after a chip upgrade. That said, as of this season, I was noticing tiny footstep sounds as I walked around after adding the chip; now I know why. Thanks so much - as always.
Was this a shadow nerf ? I don’t recall seeing anything in patch notes or S6 leaks about yet another nerf to ninja going into this season. Either way, it’s still good.
@@vicbertfartingclack4559 I knew the grapple change was coming from the test server but not the dead silence change. I also dont recall it from the patch notes. I guess it is possible it was changed before this season and I only noticed it while testing the class for this video but I can't believe I missed it before! Atm I guess shadow nerf as far as patch notes are concerned.

They should nerf pumped. That class needs it a lot more than ninja, since there currently isn’t a counter for people that want to fly around like the Mandalorian (hackers should be able to hack the jet pack since they can hack the grapple). They should leave ninja alone at this point.
Definitely had to be done, but the OPness has been there for a very long time, I strongly believe the only reason was because of the hud changes. I feel the grapple charges thing was just salt in the wound though!
I want to see how this vid does before I do the next one. I will see who requests what and then choose one. I am not totally familiar with any other class changes right now, I just focussed on this one pretty heavily.
Mind if you do a refitter guide? All the videos on this class are when it was op but now I see nobody talking about it. Mind if you do a review, I would like to see how much bullets it would take to kill someone with this class.
Yeah I agree Ninja is still good especially with the hud change, 8 meters (when its working properly) is still a ton better than 30! I'm not sure what other class I would like, trickster still has its place, I am seeing a lot of defender users too. The trap master passive is very nice for movement speeds.
Seems like camping is becoming very common in both BR and MP. I wonder if the hud change is partly to blame, in BR at least. Its all well and good to be able to ignore/miss audio effects on the minimap but now you get a (normal) 30 meter warning on the hud moving about is harder!
@@ILGPlays still waiting for the BR mode where there's no class. I wanna see a real battle royal using only pure skills, not those gun fight where you're too close to finish ur opponent and then he flashes you with his shield, or trapped you and ur dead

The grapple part seemed not to be needed but with the hud changes it was clear they would have to nerf dead silence a bit.

The bullets it would take would depend on the gun. I will however look at doing this class along with the others.

With the ninja nerf, everyone in solo are now using either defender or trap master. And they are all camping

Never saw it actually work on the test server but it will be interesting for sure! I wonder if they will remove the mods like Flashlight, Sleuth etc?
@@ILGPlays I have no problem with campers in BR, bcoz I'm doing it also, especially when I only got level1/2 vest and 100 hp.
They Nerfing all the best classes and buffing annoying classes
The nerf was harsh but with the new hud setting for audio reminders they kinda had to do it or everyone would just use ninja to get around it.
