I think they mean while maintaining the audio clean like this. Of course sync’ing is possible, but this sounds like the timing wasn’t even edited at all.
@@iurigrang I don't know your experience of drum editing and time stretching but it can be pretty transparent unless you do extreme things. It's not like Jay played the song at twice or half the speed of the original.

None of his live videos has fixed tempo. and no this doesn’t sound like it was slowed down… because it is the exact same tempo as the studio recordings.

Nah. You haven’t seen anything yet. He only using a fraction of his actual drumming ability in Slipknot. He has way more to offer. Eloys skill set is way beyond ANY drummer Slipknots ever had.
@@oscarpayne4639 he does use a metronome, not a click, but it's an app as a visual cue to get the right tempo at the start of the song, the rest is just him keeping tempo like an alien.

For sure, those who made history will always be remembered and respected. I’m not trying to start a fight here, but Eloy deserves a lot of respect because he managed to single-handedly revive Slipknot’s energy. Everyone wants to see the guy play-precision and brutality, everything that fits perfectly with Slipknot.

You're probably right, I'm not a metal expert, and sometimes it may not sync perfectly, which can cause some errors. I'll pay attention to the next ones.
@@andreybenassi1 No worries. How well do you know the original song ? You put Eloy's beat completely off-beat for an entire section or something. But you have to know the song really well to notice it :)
I preferred Joey's drumming on this. Then this proves nothing since joey thought and wrote those drum parts and eloy changed barely nothing. The TRUE value of eloy will be seen in new music.

Also have you ever see the “stutter snare” at 0:24 before? Yeah, me neither… I didn’t even know you could that with drums.
