I think this would make a great story of a dragon that escaped mankind’s grasp and had peace for a while before being hunted down , he thinks he escaped but at the end the crescendo is maybe them surrounding him? No clue but I thought maybe like this
    Something along these lines?
    The Last Dragon
Part 1: Escape from mans grasp
Part 2: Freedom (the dragon escapes and is free for a while
Part 3: Enslaved once more (they catch him) just what I thought of lol
    Great piano piece!!!

This is a very eccentric sounding piece but I dig it!

I can see this being named as music cue in a film: "Secret Revealed" or "Learning the Truth" something like that. It's an inciting moment of something....

For some reason the title "Walk of the Wendigo" popped in my head. Not sure it quite fits but who knows...
Interesting and energetic original Ryan (:

The way I can interpret this comes in two ways:
    1) I want to say this piece embodies a villian’s arch in a story. The first part is of the trauma they have faced. It creates a sense for the listener to expect that because the beginning sounds eerie and “in your face” that the entire piece will be that. Then, the first “calm” section is the villian finding that one spark to bring them joy (love, freedom, any will work). But, the third section (kinda a repeat of the first) is when everything hits the fan, the joy is lost and they unleash what they can do, creating choas. At the end however, they redeem themselves. I was stuck on the ending crescendo at first, thinking it broke the narrative. However, that is I guess the pianist’s version of the story, as the villian can never escape what it did, creating this looming evil that may possibly never be erased but us as the listeners know what happened, how the redemption was made.
If you go this route, I would choose something that goes along with something like Wicked the Musical. Make the name menancing, but as you hear it, it has complexity.
    2) You can also talk about this as a Romeo and Juliet situation. Both character were at first forced to love other ppl because of the family rivalry, they fall in love, stuff hits the fan, and ends with both lovers dead. I don’t have an idea with the ending crescendo on this one.
If you go with this one, I would do something along the lines of Forbidden Romance or like Star Crossed

I've had some friends say the same thing about the villain arch as well, I love the idea! Thank you so much :D

I have no idea what to call it! Suffice to say I really enjoyed it. Who did you study harmony with? PS: It was great to read along with the score.

Thank you so much!! I just had my first year at Columbus State University where I studied with James Ogburn who helped me get out of my harmonic comfort zone!

@@ryancomposition I definitely understand the terminology of comfort zone. I will never forget my first harmony teacher as well; John Krueger. He was a friend of Al Hirt at the Cincinnati Conservatory. He set me up with my first real professional music gig…being a trumpet player with Al. (you are too young to remember Al Hirt) The only place I could go from there was down, which I never did. Keep the arrangements coming. They are delightful! Good luck!

Your "new harmonic ideas" are literally completely random. You've regressed.

This is a certified banger. I love how sincerely it uses the cartoon villain aesthetic, especially those high dissonant stabs around 2:45 and 5:54. The ending made me crack up laughing. Really well constructed piece.
