@@160sharpand unfortunately they backpedaled again with RE8 in terms of horror because too many people complained 7 was too scary. So disappointing but I hope they return to a scarier game
Finally finished the video, started last night after beating this exact game on my 360. This was a great video and I'll check out your other videos soon! This game, man, I love it. I know it's not the best Resident Evil game in the franchise, but it's definitely my favorite ever since my first playthrough on the 3DS. I'm currently doing my first marathon of all the RE games available in the 360 in chronological order, and this weekend I played this game's campaign 3 times in a row to get all the story achievements (Which is something I never cared about doing in general when I play games, but I had to do so for this one). Playing in Infernal was a lot of fun, much more than I expected it to be, highly recommend it for anyone who already beat the game before. I'll never forget the first playthrough I had of this game on my 3DS. I was using a headset with a loud storm happening outside my house. The first time I heard "Mayyyday!" And "Fouund Youuu!" Late at night was too memorable to forget.
I know people hate on the turret sections of games. However, I'm old as dirt and turret sections reminds me of old arcade cabinets I would play with my old man. He is an old hunter and gun games just clicked with him. Good times. While I admit they are kinda stale, I just can't help but enjoy myself. Great video my dude.
Another absolutely fantastic video! Man, I remember when you didn't even have a hundred subscribers it feels so good to see your channel grow so fast. You deserve it!
Oh Tristen your one banger away from absolutely blowing up. Ya got the terrible (as a resident evil) 6 game and the beloved 7, you’re gonna blow up my friend.
IKR? It's a better Resident Evil 5 than the actual Resident Evil 5, even if the writing is still on par with that title (read: not very good). I do feel that of the Dark Age, this is easily the only game of that lot I can happily play over and over again (No, RE4 doesn't count because I consider that to be part of and the end of the GameCube era despite introducing the OTS playstyle). I'll also have to say that this game's influence on the current revival era is very present when you play, and that the Queen Zenobia is one of my favourite settings in the RE mythos being a water fan.
I did feel the setting was very unique and the game as a whole does a great job standing out from the balls to the wall action ridiculousness of the titles it’s sandwiched within
I'm always shocked when I hear that people DON'T like Revelations (1, or 2). The only problems I have with the game is the episodic format being... really dumb. Thank goodness the gaming industry largely abandoned that. Otherwise the gameplay is solid, the music and atmosphere is fantastic, the enemy designs are really unique (being based upon sea life lends itself to creativity), and the story is pretty nifty. Most of the new characters are pretty alright too. Overall it felt like a proper "classic" Resident Evil game. the fact we haven't gotten a Revelations 3 yet is a crime. Especially after how nifty 2 was.
Wow I don't know how I missed this one. This game had some good moments, but was a bit of a mixed bag for me. I liked actually getting Chris and Jill together in a story, but I didn't need the goofy characters.
That beginning gave me chills. Resisent evil needs to go back to this.
They already did with re7

@@Maxx________ 8 isn’t even a bad game, i’ll take another re8 before re6
@@160sharpI loved 8. The perfect blend of campy horror and action.
@@SchizmKing it’s a really solid entry, great sequel over re7, loved the snowy european esthetic
The mayday part still gives me chills in that area.
The music and ambiance this game has is seriously underrated
Definitely some of the best in the series up to that point!
I particularly get a dig out of Quint and Darcy's leitmotif. Just a swanky funk track that fits so well with the game's comic relief duo.

this game on the 3ds was insane i will never forget Rachel and how she scared me shitless as a kid
Same here

Great video my dude.
Valid take, thank you!
I'm just sitting here eating nuggies and fries.
🙏🙏
I wish theyd continue Revelations as a spinoff series. I still think Rev2 is the most perfect blend of co-op balancr the Resi series has ever done
I remember liking rev 2 a lot as well, feels like they forgot about these games
Should I be using an RE video to fall asleep to? No. Am I doing it anyway? Yes!

Just found the channel last night now this. Subscribed.
Thanks for the sub!
I would load this up on my 3DS, plug in earbuds and fiddle around the raid mode menu just to hear the music.
That menu music is elite

Thank you for your support! ❤️
These are some of the best resident evil retrospectives on TH-cam, thanks for your hard work 🫡
This game is a hidden gem fr
Honestly that cat and mouse part with mutated Jessica or whatever her name is gets me everytime. Especially when you hear "Found youuuu" randomly
It was definitely pretty creepy first time playing it
They finally were able to make that haunted cruise ship they wanted to do. 3rd times the charm and this games what revived the series.

Haven’t played 2 in a minute but I remember liking it more than 1, guess we’ll see when get there

It’s so so for me. I’d definitely pick many other titles over this one, but I defiantly think it’s the best released handheld
@@TristenWuuzHere Better than Gaiden? lol Joking of course.
What a well researched video
Thank you!
first!
Also yes, this was by far the best non-main title entry in the franchise!
Non my favorite non-main title (that goes to outbreak) but it’s definitely one the best and certainly the best released on handheld!
I swear my Mandela effect moment is still thinking this game came out after 6
I think I ended up playing it after 6 as well... but no turns out it came out before then
@TheDrunkLawyer it may be that you remember the hd version? It was released in 2013, 7 months after re6.
I like it, but it reminds me of Metal Gear Solid in a way.
I also liked Parker quite a bit.
Re6 vid when
It has the literal worst enemy design of the entire series.
Those monsters are goofy looking AF.
I personally think they look pretty good
