      So Mary, we can't show every step as people get too bored and give up watching. Our videos are an overview to accompany the step by step notes.

    Excellent video, I wish I had seen it before I finished the Sweet Pea Advent Calendar. The video explains some extra points that makes it easier. Very nice.

    I am new to the embroidering machine. Can you tell me what the weight of the cut away stabilizer you used and how many layers?

    What do you mean by leave excess fabric in the seams?

      Can be two things: 1) don't cut the fabric back to the outer stitching line as it needs to sit in the seam allowance when the blocks are sewn together. or 2) The outside perimeter of the block needs enough fabric to make a 1/2" seam allowance once trimmed. Hope this helps somewhat.

    Please may I ask what did you put on top of the fur fabric?

      We used a Solvy type water soluble product to keep the fur in place while stitching and it easily rips out without wetting when we're done.
