While you had the right rear trunk panel open, you could have unplugged the 32-pin connector from the Bluetooth module behind that same panel & plugged a Bluetooth retention harness into that connector (NOT the module itself) so you have full use of the steering wheel controls (including phone buttons). The model numbers for those are Metra / Axxess AX-NIS32BT or AX-BTH-NIS, iDataLink / Maestro ACC-BT-NI1, or PAC BT-SWC-NI1; Crux includes it in the SWRNS-63U kit. They all do the same thing; they link together the three sets of wires (essentially Key1, Key2 & ground) that the factory harness routes from the SWC thru the Bluetooth module before going to the radio. This is generally for Versas (both sedan & Note) that have factory Bluetooth but NOT factory navigation. (Edit: You can also use jumpers or splices for the correct wires if you're good at those things, but IMO that's not as professional or simple an install as a retention harness; I found the AX-NIS32BT at a local Best Buy for $8.49 + tax on closeout, and except for possibly the PAC model it shouldn't cost much more than that.) Depending on the capabilities of your aftermarket radio you may not even need a SWC interface & the splices for it you had to do in your earlier video, though you may find the SWC interface easier to program than the radio. Generally, the latest Chinese Android head units with a single 16-pin power jack (like the one I'm trying to install right now) can be programmed to handle Key1 / Key2 signals directly without a separate SWC interface; the one in these videos is older, apparently has the more traditional dual 8-pin ISO power jacks, and may not have the same functionality. (Edit: The retention harnesses claim to support the various manufacturers' own SWC interfaces, but that doesn't prevent them from being used with other SWC solutions.)

I have 2016 Nissan Sentra. Trying to do this. Confused with reverse light wire colors. There are: red, black, yellow, green and white. Do I connect red wire from the camera to yellow wire which is going to reverse light or different color?
My aftermarket backup camera is glitchy.. tried removing the ground to the backup light. The picture got clearer but still glitching at bottom and top (clear in the center).. any help to get a clear picture?
Cleanest install i've seen yet. Beautiful tutorial!
just followed your directions on my daughters 14’ versa. Spot on. all we very smooth
thanks for the informative video 🎉

What about if you already have the camera on factory radio
My 2019 Nissan Versa has a rear camera, how would the connections be integrated with the new radio?
Did you figure it out?
I would like to know too. My 2019 Nissan Versa Note SV has a backup camera.

I followed these directions on my versa and i have no video feed and wires are smoking! What did i do wrong?
Sounds like you Didn't ground the camera properly. or reversed the Power/Ground
you definitely messed up some of the power wires.
What about the D6 Dash Cam Back camera
Great work
