Love the Kodiac cakes. Makes me think of the tv show Grizzly Adams andhis friend Mad Jack’s flapjacks!

regular pancake / flapjack griddler here. Love the options you demonstrate. We too use real Vermont maple syrup, and our favorite is the Sam's buttermilk mix, made with the coffee cream instead of milk, an egg, dash of vanilla. Delish.

Thanks Todd! - This was a great comparison. - I say mix the two winners, add milk and eggs and you've got "the best of the best"!
Living in Canada, we always get a lot of excellent maple syrup!
Thanks so much for including your beautiful family - we have 10 grandkids and love them all so much!

On the cracker barrel reduce the water a little next time and they will be fluffier. Add the water to the thickness of the batter constantly you prefer. And you will find the rise up more than spread out. Like the video and like the way you bring the family into your videos and encourage them to take a part it what you do while allowing them their own opinions and style.

Todd, you have such a good looking family but little Sadie is so adorable. I use to love pancakes but I recently found out I'm gluten intolerate. I've been trying different gluten free products and recipes to create a good pancake. Pure maple syrup is the only way to go. I like it in hashbrowns and stir-frys.

Great video. Have you ever tried using muffin mix for pancakes? Man they are good. Martha White muffin mix is really good, but you can use any brand. There are a ton of flavors. Another great pancake mix is Krusteaz. Very good.

Todd all I use is Kodiak I always use one cup water to one cup mix a true flap jack is very thin. I have used it for years and everybody loves them. Just a tip. You want the batter rather runny. There old instructions were one to one for some reason they changed it.

Todd, may I suggest that if you have left over bacon fried corn, throw that into the batter too. Drop dead delicious. 👍🏻🇺🇸

We use the members mark one on the regular here. Add some vanilla and a little bit more water to thin out the batter and they’re pretty dang good

You need to try Hayden Flour Mill white sonra pancake mix. They sell all heritage flours. You'll never go back to any other mix.

Enjoyed seeing you the other day in NC. My daughters had a blast. Thinking I’m going to make some pancakes or French toast this next weekend for the family. I need to see if I can find the Kodak brand. Thanks for sharing.

Little tip: use 7UP or Sprite instead of water. You get i lighter pancake and will even take a Krustez brand good.

Todd......Can you give me any info about the elk hunting around that area (Pagoso Springs) please? Considering a trip there to do an OTC elk hunt in that very area this year. Never been there and cant make a trip prior to the season. IF there is a way I can get ahold of ya in a PM form....that would be great if you can assist. Thx! Hope to see you in person at some point on tour while here in tx. Been following your channels since the beginning. Love the hat BTW.....blackstone gets my vote because they arent afraid to advertise that they support a hunting community. The hunting community is the largest conservation group in the USA...PERIOD> And glad to see blackstone supports that.

Taste is everything.... so use a little common sense and add a little less water to the cracker barrel and you'll have the best of the criterias you're looking for.
