Swami Ji, do Rudraksha beads have to be consecrated with certain sacred words, or are they self-sustaining? Do you have to be a Hindu to benefit from them or would there even be any disadvantages of not having a connection with Lord Shiva? The issue of faces remains a bit vague. Can we all wear five-sided beads without worrying, but we are not yogis?
From Swamiji: Rudrakshas have their innate power and need no consecration or addition. Anyone who wears a complete mala (108 beads with a meru bead, making 109) will receive its benefits, so there is no need to be a Hindu, a yogi, or even interested in Lord Shiva.
It's not about being worthy, it is a question of will they be of benefit to you in your spiritual life. Hopefully the video will answer your questions. 🙏
Certainly the beads can be left on the body when showering or bathing. However, to remove any extraneous vibration/magnetism they might pick up, every so often they should be held under cold running water to cleanse them.
Can you wear 2 different Mala on your neck like 5 Mulki and 9 Mulki at the same time? And why do they have to have a knot ? The one I bought did not have a knot
Thanks for this information. Very valuable. I'm reinspired.
🙏
Om Thank You !!!

@LightofTheSpirit...are you saying only a mala of 108 is effective? What about 54? Why cant one or more be effective next to skin?
From Swamiji: 108 beads (plus a meru bead) are neccessary for the full effect. That is the way things are.
I bought a rudrashkba bead from the hugging Ma but I lost it because I didn't know it was that sacred and beneficial.
Can we leave the beads on the body while taking a shower so that they get automatically washed?
