£750 to refurb kitchens in that state! Not sure what some people expect with next to no budget. They'd be lucky if there was enough for paint and some flat pack ikea furniture!
@@Deb.-. it may have been where you lived. The reason it got the side eye where I lived was because almost nobody did it because it looked like utter shite even in the 90s, which was the worst era for decor since the late 70s.

I always take the wallpaper off first before paintin because in time the wallpaper will begin to bubble up when painted.
I can never understand why they paint over wall paper, I guess it comes down to how much time they have to do a job and the quality of the paper.
Maybe they can’t be bothered. (Anyway it’s Only gotta look good til they get outta Town)??😂

The country kitchen is wonderful....how could he not like it....but the diner kitchen is terrible.
Isnt it good that we,re all different.i preferred the diner kitchen.i love that 50,s vibe.
I actually like both of them, but lack of storage in the diner and the old stove with the top grill is cool, never seen that in USA.
The country style is ok but spoon handles are ridiculous imo.
I love the handles but probably not the most hygienic.

Eeew it looks strange the cabinet handles so weird 90s decor is not everyones cup of tea
LOL Well you do realise the program was filmed during the mid 90's to very early 2000, so the handles were right inline at that time in the past.
