Ever since RTM used to play this every midnight, and I used to be mesmerized by every bit of it.. right there in bed with only the TV giving faint light to a dark hotel room.. and up to this very moment before I clicked this video, I haven't heard a single fully satisfying rendition of Sejahtera Malaysia. Not even Sheila Majed's did it for me, though it was gorgeous in its own way. And the fact that I couldn't find a clear clean recording of the old one just added to the agonizing longing to this tune.... And then I watch this. I couldn't fight the tears just oozing out of my eyes. The goosebumps. The passion that radiated from everyone in this whole project. More goosebumps... I'm not Malaysian. I'm from Saudi Arabia. I've been used to visiting Singapore and Malaysia for as far as I can remember due to family ties. And this song means a lot to me.. Because it's beautiful. Because it's patriotic. Because I love Malaysia. You may not realize it but I think you've done a huge HUGE favor to this generation and all generations to come. To everyone that this song means anything to tbh. You've taken this gorgeous song and revitalized it. Modernized it while still respecting its original mold. Finally there's a clean touching professional rendition of this song that should and will live forever alongside the original one. Thank you so much for this. Purely wonderful. Thank you.

Great effort for a zero budget, short timeline and purely voluntary effort. It’s worth to mention that many of these teens were coping for PT3 and school exams and had to sacrifice their school hours to attend this shoot (including the audition) and it is by no mean feat easy to find talents who can sing and pronounce a Malay song well, and many volunteers were contestants of a singing competition and they were also busy coping with that competition preparation. May God bless you the team who took such effort travelling from school to school to shoot this, not forgetting the wonderful volunteers and talents. This is greatly appreciated.
This school should have taken this project and sing this song with a True Malaysian Spirit. Taken students from various schools and get every ethnic group to represent the song. This would have been the greatest gift to This Independence Day. It would have given a impact.
