What do you expect when you run off your starting QB over one interception? Then you lose your bowl game because none of the NFL prospects decide they have no loyalty to the game and decide to not play? There is TOO MUCH MONEY in college football.
It’s been time. I’m realist Ohio state fan sadly so I see right through it. Slow starts, team looking uninspired, soft trenches etc. They can bring in the recruits but that will die down if they continue to lose in big games. Their problem is deeply rooted, they need a head coach that can fire them up, and Ryan Day is NOT that. You can see in his demeanor and it shows in big games too; playing soft & scared. Sadly still a lot of dumb Ohio state fans that don’t see that and are happy about beating bad, borderline high school teams 😂 they need to stop scheduling those as much and learn to beat decent teams. Then maybe they won’t shit themselves against good teams
As a Michigan fan, and I think my anOSU rivals can agree with what I'm about to say, but I'd rather go 0-11 and then beat anOSU at the end of the season, than go 11-0 and then lose to anOSU. The entire season is worthless if we can't win the important games. If anOSU beat Oregon, then maybe that would've proven that Ryan Day finally got his shit together. But he didn't, showing that he simply is incapable of winning the big games. Any big games he did win in the past was more about gliding off of Urban Meyer's coattails than Day's own skill.
Urban did more with less talent. I’m not saying Urban didn’t have talent, obviously he did, but not like some of the teams Day has had recently. Michigan obviously doesn’t look great this year but I really believe if OSU loses to them again this year it’s the end for Day.
Urban lost to bad Michigan State Iowa & Purdue teams to end his tenure in Columbus. Day has been extremely consistent & played close in almost every big game

Well Tennessee lost to a sorry ass Arkansas team & rode the struggle bus against an even worse Florida team while Ohio State lost by 1 to a top 3 team. If Ohio State lost to Iowa they’d have fallen like Tennessee
If you looked before 2019, you would see that Ohio State won a lot of their big games. Thats because Urban Meyer was the coach so he usually won his big games. His problem at the end of his career is losing to a random average conference teams like Purdue and Iowa
Ohio St has won a lot of their big games since then too. This is just a cherry pickin hatchet job. He aint perfect but Matt's leaving out a lot of stuff.

I’m a Michigan fan and I kinda feel bad for him because he literally just can’t win the big game
Like the 90s bills
Keep him-GO BLUE
GO BLUE....Keep Ryan Day and give him a max contract 😅😅😅😅😅
Shhhhh…Meeechigan has its own problems now.
this is why everyone called Kyle called Honda McCord. Just as good, and half the price
Everyone throwing $20m about like confetti. Who knows how much Oregon, Bama, Georgia etc also spent?
Its Ryan Day's hair dye.
Let’s talk about how Kalen lost control & respect of his team when Malachi Moore refused to leave the field after coaches told him to when he lost his mind.
I'll say it. Imagine if this was DaBo, the criticism would be astronomical, Ryan Day is one of if not the most underachieving coaches in history!!!! He got the race car when it was already at the finish line from Urban and still can't finish
Not defending the guy but who could we possibly hire to get us over the hump? I mean yes Day is extremely frustrating but I think it be a lose lose situation weather we stick with him or not.
What do you expect when you run off your starting QB over one interception?
Then you lose your bowl game because none of the NFL prospects decide they have no loyalty to the game and decide to not play?
There is TOO MUCH MONEY in college football.
They might want to go after Mike Vrabel before someone else grabs him! …. Hell, maybe even Michigan!
I genuinely don’t think that Ryan day was the problem on Saturday. The problem was CHIP KELLY. His play calling was terrible
Day should have been gone 2 years ago. We OSU fans are tired of this
Been waiting for this video. Mattbecomittingtaxfraud
We’re sick of him. He’s arguing with the ref with 12 seconds left on the clock. SMH
it starts with those tacky nike hats lmao
OSU fan: I have said it for the last 4 years.....Fire Jim Knowles. See it? right there in his name Jim Know les. Worst hire in OSU history.
Well your team get used to 4th place in SEC
Matt genuine question would wisconsin or Iowa be better if Ryan day was there coach over fickell or ferrentz
He needs to be fired. Bring up Hartline. He’s the one who’s recruiting all the good players anyways.
As a buckeye fan when i seen kelly get hired after the michigan lost i always felt like that was just for someone to fight to keep day as head coach. He should’ve been gone after the second lost to michigan🤦🏾♂️
Ohio State wins that game at home. Then MattbeDiddy talks about something else.
tn dropped more for a win than ohio state did after a loss. tn is the only team in the country that drops after a loss. agent 47 is a video game character in hitman franchise. that was the 2nd hitman movie.
Well Tennessee lost to a sorry ass Arkansas team & rode the struggle bus against an even worse Florida team while Ohio State lost by 1 to a top 3 team. If Ohio State lost to Iowa they’d have fallen like Tennessee
Beat Xichigan and win the nati. If they both don’t happen, I agree. Thought he should have been fired last year but this should be his last chance.
I hope crying Ryan never leaves.
This game won’t matter in the grand scheme of things … if we loses to Michigan or falters hard in playoffs then enough will be enough
I called to fire him after his first loss to the team up north. He’s not head coach material.
@@rizipt i mean outside of the Penn State win he isn’t wrong. I guess that Rose Bowl win against a non-opt out Utah squad might count but at the same time its Utah. Ohio state was playing with their second string though
@@brandonconforto315 I just didn't appreciate the cherry picking. You can make the point without it. He conveniently stopped so as not to include the time he whooped Michigan's ass and they did beat Clemson that time in the playoffs. There have been some big wins.
@@rizipt yeah that has been my consistent complaint with matt, he does cherry pick but a lot of his videos he leaves out important context. He does have more hits then misses but his missed can be hard. He is entertaining though
If Ohio State beats Michigan this year, does it really count as Ryan Day winning a big game? Genuine question. Michigan will probably be a 3-4 loss team.
