      @@reviwanivanua2716 my grandad used to wake me up and catch the 6am first bud from Raiwaqa to the Market to get fresh produce,and we’d hide from his cousins from the villages selling their products etc as they would just want to give it for free haha isa them good old days,things were so simple.

    Suva market is the cheapest market in Fiji and the world. For $1 you will get a plastic full of Eggplant, Cabbage, ginger and many more things on a Friday and Saturday early morning.

    • @VicStefanu
      @VicStefanu  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well, I wouldn't say in 'the world'.. I have been to parts of Africa where things were much, much cheaper (like in Zimbabwe)..

    • @amrit0
      @amrit0 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VicStefanu Well Vic you haven't explored Fiji like we have. You can get vegetables for 50 cents as well. I have lived here for so long and Fiji has the cheapest markets in the world. Plus if you are a daily customer, market vendors will give you extra heap or bundle of their produce, but yah Africa maybe cheaper but I don't think quantity wise. In Fiji the quantity will always be high. Even at 50 cents or a dollar spent.
