Nice! Very similar to mine. I’ve got conventional CBs, Pmags, IO-370, fixed three blade prop, and all the avionics and controls on the right, so I fly right hand on stick, left on throttle. My rolls are identical, but wish I could have seen your wingovers technique better- love those. I have esp fully turned off, so no “Bitchin Betty” on landing. Keep up the cool vids! Not been to your country, but on my short list!
Thomas, great video! I love my 7a also. For basic aerobatics (loops, rolls), I keep the throttle the same throughout the maneuver. However, I saw your hand on the throttle during your maneuvers. Are you adjusting during your maneuvers?
There is indeed! In my opinion, for a longer flight that has concerns about range then lean of peak is a good option to have available. For shorter flights, having the extra power available is always worth the little extra burn in my opinion

Those are mad speeds, really opens up destinations!
Worked that I can get from anywhere to anywhere in SA within 4 hours and land at most airstrips! She's a time machine!!
Nice one. Love my RV7. Very similar numbers.
They truly are incredible aircraft. Are you based in South Africa Rob?
Well equipped Performer. You must be stoked!! Enjoy
I love her!!
Loved the KFA videos. Hope to see you doing some exploring again soon. Keep up the great content!
They’ll be coming soon!

Would love to own one of these! Great video!
Thank you!!
Super nice aircraft! Spotted it on the apron at Rand recently. I thought the voice flying an RV in SRA sounded familiar 😅 Congrats on the new plane! 💪
Thanks Duane! You’ll definitely be here more of me in SR west. What are you flying?
@ThomasMarrow look forward to seeing more of it 😎 I fly a super cub. Operate the banner tow aircraft in joburg. Callsign is SkyAd 4
@@DuaneMouton always wondered who had that job! Very cool! We should link up sometime
Heard you on special rules at about 7:30 this morning
That was me! What were you flying?
C172, ZS-STV grand central to potchefstroom
Nice! I remember the call sign ✈️
How is the availability of avgas 100LL in SA?
Very good! Most established airfields have avgas available
Great video... Quite some debate on flying lean of peak rather than rich of peak...

Do you ever get tired of the erroneous aural warnings
Yes, I do haha! There is apparently a way to turn it off
