The Union Special 43200G is one of the oldest machines used to finish denim. Rightfully nicknamed, 'The Bulldog', this machine is a beast when hemming denim. It's only right that we maintain the most accurate character of our denim selection when making adjustments. Here is a peak into the rhythm of a Canoe Club staple as we hem up a pair of Tanuki denim for a customer.

Does anyone remember a video where someone visits the shop and someone from the shop gives a tour? I remember the staff was showing the sawing machine, talking about how they do the hemming and also there was a vintage Levi's 501 up on the wall. Maybe it wasn't canoe club?

We just use machine oil from Ralph's Industrial Sewing!
