    BD is correct. The trigger is a lever so the longer the travel (lower part of trigger), the lower the force required to break. Try it way up top, then down at the bottom, you will see what I mean. Simple physics. :) Good job on the video, thanks for taking the time to do it and make sure you get those batteries back in the remote!

    Bryan, I think you were holding to high on the trigger. Put the tool where you would normally put your finger and pull straight back, not up.

    I know that the trigger pull on my favorite handgun is lighter than the unloaded gun itself. I think the pull is only about 1.5 lb and my TS2 weighs about 3 lb unloaded. It's pretty sweet.

    Checked my trigger pull on a few of ours. Got 5 pounds on our S&W shield and under 3 pounds on my 1911 45. Its good to know the trigger pull.

      What kind of 1911 do you have? I wish mine was 3lbs. If that wasn't stock what did you do to it to get 3lbs?

    I love it, at the beginning of your videos you make it sound like it's going to be the fastest video ever, and then you talk 12-15 minutes. Not at all a complaint, it's great.
    And thanks for the video!

    Both seem really nice Bryan! I like the simplicity of the manual one. The electronic one would be really cool though. Especially for pistols I guess. Although even the spring type would be a big improvement for me. Since don´t have any. Last time I used a tuned fishing scale for one of my airguns. Lol. Only one of my two hunting rifles (the one I mostly use) has adjustable trigger. Seems that the electric one measures both lbs and kg:s which is nice :) The prices seem fair, even the spring operated ones I have seen are double the price here and electronic Lyman is well over 100 €. Have a great weekend Bryan! Big thumbs up!

      The digital is just easier in my opinion. It does the math for you too

    Put the hook lower where your finger would be.I can tell you are pulling the digital gauge lower that is why you got lighter trigger pulls.

    I tend to think that the mechanical is more accurate just from the way it feels when I pull it. Do you have any information on which one is actually more accurate?

      not really

      @@SurvivalOnPurpose I saw another really good video online where he compared the mechanical and electrical and he weighed a can of beans or a calibrated accurate scale and then put them in a plastic grocery bag and picked one up with the trigger gauges in the mechanical one was more accurate

    Anybody doing this on an AR, take your stock off to get a straighter pull on your trigger.

    Seems as if the electronic gauge is all inconsistent!

  • @laxwyo1
    @laxwyo1 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for the video. I imagine it works different based on placement but the reason it's inconsistent is because that trigger looks like a creepy pile of junk.

    Your holding the gauge too high on the trigger You need to hold it on the bottom tip
