We recently got a street through time - such a lovely book, we were looking through it and my son was like..... WHAT!!!.... What - they DEVOLVED!!! Yep, we "devolved", being a boy he was interested in all the toilet scenes, and horrified when I explained about the sticks with cloth in the Roman times.... That everyone shared! Having to go back and see how long the treasure chest had been buried was cool - really love this book, we also got a child through time, and will be getting a city through time. Cities now and then is also pretty good to go along with these.
thanks for sharing! Kate Snow's Math with Confidence curriculum incorporates stories in every unit. We've enjoyed it immensely.

Thank you for this. I am going to get a few of these books. We already use many of the same books. I'm new so I might be recommending something you already have but have you read the Sir Cumference books? We love those for math.

Looking for book suggestions to give to kids? go for *personalised childrens books* - a custom version of a certain educational book - you're able to have not only its overall theme changed (covers and labels) but also switch out the character names
I love the Street Through Time book. That is so cool. I want the Julia Rothman books, but have been hoping they would go on sale. Sadly they haven't. I'm gonna look for that art encyclopedia as well. Art history is a hard one for me to teach. A River Ran Wild is good. Hope your kiddos like that one.
I thought it was really cool too . Yeah those Julia Rothman books can be a bit pricey. We've just purchased them one at a time. Art history is hard for me too I'm just going to try to work it in where I can. Thanks for sharing that. I hope my kids like it too. 😊

Just found your channel and love so many of your book recommendations. We own quite a few of them but I added a bunch more to our list. Did you enjoy the Ana and Andrew series? I have never heard of that one before and it didn't have a lot of reviews but the concept sounds greater and the author sounds incredible.
