This is just lovely, especially watching as a Scottish Pagan, what they said is so close to my heart & how I feel about nature & spirituality & about the social issues that intertwine with this disrespect for nature. I'm so glad you got to come & appreciate this place as well. You captured the spirit of the place so beautifully. I have done similar blessings for my local Nature in Shetland, the sea, the peatlands, & all, but this is such a different habitat, & so close by, it's facinating! I hope to one day see this place thrive, I hope to similarly see Nature all over the world thrive, & I hope for the same for your homes too!
Thank you to Narubia Werreria, Thaline Iny Karajá, Val Munduruku, Siã Huni Kuin & Busã Huni Kuin. Thank you to earthrise for uplifting the voices of those who have been whispering, speaking, screaming, dying, doing everything they can, reminding the rest of us of where we come from and what and who will nourish us. As Narubia so aptly says, some of us are 'children of the earth' too, but find ourselves detached from nature in several forms, under a form of trauma that makes us forget where we come from and what/who nourishes us. Thank you for uplifting the presence of those who have been resisting and sustaining the earth, through their sole existence. Those children who have not given up on themselves. Those children who have not given up on the rest of us. So grateful this message is uplifted in a more 'massive' media. I hope it reverberates, like the funghi that sparks and sustains the forest's life, amongst many other systems that uphold and uplift life. Systems that are truly wild, as Narubia speaks. Systems that nourish. Systems that have been, are and will be the only systems- that will sustain us, living. I am always humbled to say I started my 'career' learning from and working with indigenous people, and this video truly depicts some leaders as they should be depicted: in their majesty and knowledge, in their reverence to what is important to them. Thank you.
What a beautiful documentary. Well done guys 🙌🏼 I cried so much when she talked about how we are supposed to be civilised… we care more about money. What I would do to be able to live in culture that’s so deeply connected to nature. I can’t explain how much it saddens me to know that these people are the ones who are suffering the most because they have that and it’s in so much danger.
Beautifully made, thanks for sharing this special moment with us. Just reminds me of the importance of being close to the land, and slow, appreciative living. Thank you 🙏🏽
"Some people are so full of money, but so empty of humanity." -- what a gorgeous, thought-provoking film.
2:53 So very touching and powerful words to have to lay all hopes upon!
So much sadness for what is lost, but so much care and hope for the future.
Beautiful and powerful work! Watching this brought tears to my eyes. Thank you for this.
much love from Brazil ❤

I'm so grateful that people like you share, educate and inspire others like me.
What an inspiring movie. Just being able to listen to those who are still in balance with nature.
