Ray and Benji are definitely not going to come home, at least not anytime soon. I’m not opposed to it but this two already built their ego on leading a crew, it’s one of the main reason why they left on their respective group in the first place back in 3.0. (Ray being in CB and Benji in Vagos before making Seaside) swallowing that ego back in just to be a follower would take a lot from them as a character.
Mmm its moreso Benji wants a seat at the table and more say. In Vagos, he led well but if words werent listened to unless it was backed by Speedy. He quite literally was Speedy’s shadow and he spoke of this.
While for Ray, Rust initially was the CB Street Team (CBST) during a time that Yuno, X, and all the OG LBs/CBs were inactive (with Nino and Denzel mainly on their cop characters), Tony focused on racing, and Lang was focused in business RP with Cerberus. There was no bank progression at this time and Ray essentially was alone. Rust just grew so much in size and power tht when tensions between his street team and Lang started, Lang essentially forced Ray to choose Rust as Lang and Speedy set up Ray on Yeager’s island during a meeting.
But tbh Ray loved CB and always talked about how much he misses it. From when everyone left him to now in 4.0. And Seaside worked fairly similar to CB/OB in how even tho there is a “leader” most people have alotta say and it’s essentially moreso a group of leaders unlike most other gangs/groups.
Nah bro Ray became Rust leader cuz Lang felt bad for the Rust boys since all of their progression was tied to Ray and Ray was going to join the CB app so he convinced Ray to go with Rust and make them an official gang instead
