She has gone into hiding and skipped all of her court dates so I'm sure there is a warrant for her arrest and she will wind up spending some time in jail when caught. I think that was the saddest quote of the entire interview. Sadly he didn't stand a chance and he knew it.
My best friend had a similar option. "Plead guilty to a lesser charge and lose your entire military career....or go to court martial and spend the rest of your life in prison." He suffers from tremendous ptsd from the trauma of the accusation and loss of career (14 years) and reputation even still...30 years later.

This is real. I was just falsely accused of sexual assault here in Japan spent 15 days in interrogation. The process was punishment and caused horrendous damage in my life I don’t know if I can ever recover from.Despite the charges being dropped, there’s now a mark on my record forever here that will be used against me in the future.
