You are right in that this map is a multiplayer map. It's actually a team multiplayer map for a game mode named "Duke-Tag", similar in some regards to Assault mode in Unreal Tournament. You have to first acquire a Jetpack (at 18:44, you press the switch through the wall that briefly opens the Jetpack in the other base so an ally can pick it up), which you then use to fly up a shaft to hit a switch, which opens up some Boots that an ally can pick up, and then the ally has a minute to make the "lava run", which is why there are so many windows to the purple lava, and a conveyor belt, so the other team can shoot at the runner. If they make it to the other side (the path to the Queen is closed off), they can enter a teleporter to score a point for their team. Also, the rumbling you hear at the start of the map is a design quirk with the Duke-Tag element of the map... it's essentially resetting itself ready to start the game proper. To blow my own trumpet, I adapted Queen for my EDuke mod named TeamDUKE, way back in 2001 or so, so it properly supports Duke-Tag as well as Capture the Flag. The mod has since been updated to run on NetDuke32 (a fork of EDuke32) instead.
I always liked the elaborate voice effects while being underwater or shrunk, But definitely didn't expect you being underwater AND shrunk at the same time! XD
25:40 When that Enemy Teleports, any other Animations (Dying, Gibbing) is put on hold until the Teleport Animation completes. It's satisfying watching them Gib after they teleport back in.
4:04 "see you in hell!" (protazoid eggs). Lmao, just imagine what actual biblical HELL for duke nukem looks like: no difference between face and ass, absence of bubble gum and then THIS
One little thing with the level... that very first room with the table and hanging light... it's the same room that you see in the opening cinematic (the video shot by the undercover operative). That's why there's blood and body parts everywhere.
The game should have give a player scuba gear right before the boss. When i first played through this level i fought the boss with no scuba gear and it looked like a hundred saves
Ah yes the final map of episode 4 and of course the final boss "The Alien Queen" which reminds me of the Queen alien xenomorph from the movies Aliens and yes the ending is scene quite hilarious as Duke Nukem always do what do best.
Thank you for continuing this. Its actually interesting, unlike some people COUGH DECINO who play the same game every day for the rest of their lives COUGH DOOM lol :P
I made a sneak peek of what is going on at twitch. Im i right that Scythe is going to be the next serial movie here on youtube? Or it's just a generic twitch stream
Yes. Scythe will be the next video for youtube. Still a long way to go until editing is finished though, and after that the video will stay a while in early-access for patrons only.
You may enjoy Duke Nukem World Tour after a break.
It's got new levels and the holoduke legit works as intended.

32:41 This is a place of jetpack.
I'm really glad You've played it through, thanks a lot!
😁🚀
GG
Love that you had to play the boss battle over again because you clicked passed the outro. 😆
Duke Nukem is the only media I know that ends with you putting a grenade into a giant alien's hoo-ha.

the funniest part of the video was when they said "Look for a Duke Nukem 3D sequel soon."
Well, if we count Caribbean and Nuclear Winter as sequels...
So, I hope expancions are next. Christmas one is so-so, but Carribean and DC ones are worthy of playthrough.
And hopefully ep5 at some point
You're right, Life's a beach was great, I hope Coin plays them.
As much as I'd love to see Coin play DC and Caribbean too, I think at some point he did say he'd only do episodes 1 through 4 and that'll be it.😢
4:04 "see you in hell!" (protazoid eggs). Lmao, just imagine what actual biblical HELL for duke nukem looks like: no difference between face and ass, absence of bubble gum and then THIS
And the only food is Duke Burgers.
@@OblomSaratov Which Duke himself hates.
08:03 "Wow. That's actually a secret!"
17:25 Near-death experience
22:31 Crusher fun
32:37 Final boss time
41:50 The Curse Of The Completionist

It was.
All good things... Great playthrough, Coin; wonderful nostalgia! Look forward to whatever's next. 😁
Episode 4 was a nice one, thank you :)
I didn't know there were air pockets when I've played it...
Music is from "V", an old SF-serie of the '80's

You gotta play Blood, it's peak Build engine outside of Ion Fury.
6:42 "Not the egg!" - that enforcer, probably.
Music has pretty strong V vibes!
Not want to spoil, but it might take _forever_ for the sequel to come out
Are you going to play the Megaton Edition expansions? (Life's a beach/Duke it out DC/Nuclear winterstorm) Or even the Cursed randy version episode 5?
No plans for that atm.
@@coincident fair.
A little bit of too much duke for now.

Proper facerocketful final fight.
Are you going to play episode 5

Sequel soon. Yes.
"Fo the Kuin"
I wonder why we can see the sky in this level. I thought it was hidden under the bottom of the sea.
Gg, coin.
Now, episode 5😂

Could you please try a community made Build engine game called AMC squad?
There is an update to AMC coming, so it's better to postpone it a bit.
@@Valdakhar you mean ep5? that's still being developed.
@@shinefirex5185 Yeah, that one.
