Still playing this game on the regular, especially now being stuck around the house. Great, great work on this! SOR Remake is truly one of my favorite games ever.
Yeah after playing 4, while 4 is pretty fucking amazing imo. This remake has a lot of stuff to keep me coming back, it still might be the best streets of rage. Though 4's combat feels better, this remake, ughh so many unique characters with different variations and so many paths.. It's unrivaled.
they’re literally the most annoying bosses, especially sor1 onihime and yasha. their jump kick cannot be countered and they constantly run up to you making you do less damage
True.. ahaha.. but gotta admit further of it really covers the bongos.. I mean, the track goes brutal after the 1st phase.. A truly memorable remake of the song..
Merci merci merci !!!
@RuiDX you can. Because 90% of the time remixes doesn't sound better than the original regardless of sound quality. BGM1401 did the impossible with his tracks for the SoR Remake
You must be kidding me better than the original? Sigh it doesn’t even have the bass and the drums to support it so how can it be better than the original ??
@@Yamazaki44 Does’nt matter, there’s been various remakes of themes that miss some back Instruments but have still shown to be superior without them while adding new better parts to compensate,also.....what are you talking about? the Bass is there.

It sounds good, but Francois is right about those two parts. As a guy that has the original level 8 bgm in my gaming music folder, the congo drums and heavy bass of the breakdown was my favorite part. I was disappointed when I heard neither here.
@@KrayzieCD Even without the drums, it still sounds like a final stage theme which is the point of my comment. It still sounds serious and dire which matters more.
KrayzieCD hey thanks a lot, I read some other comments that says this remake is better than the original version. I was like, ??? They clearly don’t understand what true quality is when it comes to music...
Amazing that they managed to recreate the soundtrack so faithfully and make it even better at the same time. Whoever did this is incredibly talented.
Absolutely. With a lot of remake soundtracks, I still usually prefer the originals, but THIS is absolutely an improvement in every way.

@@Mingodough Glad to hear your feedback on sor4. I'll probably pick it up this weekend.
Was trying to look for a copy of this game but it seems to have vanished off the internet. Least the music lived.

Great music to fight gangsters while you're walking down a fancy hallway at the top of a building...
Chills! Best track on this whole remix.
I still remember that 7 minutes long fight with Mona & Lisa. Just jumping around until hitting one another. Got thrown - Up+Jump and again...

Eu sempre escolho a rota do SoR1 só pra poder escutar essa música maravilhosa. A música da fase anterior, Violent Breathing, também é muito boa!
The book is on the table
That's exactly how I felt before black belt exam.
Better then the original stage 8 route 1 and there is a whole part added. Best remake ever, and its updated to 5.2
This song is rather deep.... kinda soul quaking with the piano 2:09
That why called "The last soul".
This is One Of The MOST UNIQUE Soundtrack Of Streets Of Rage
of all games
This soundtrack hits so hard
Me: What will we have for dinner?
Table: You.
Miss those Police Assists in last mission so you are going to fight back all regular enemies and more sub bosses before meeting the Main Villain Mr X
This is almost perfect but your missing the heavy bass in the outro from the original.
Damn,I was hoping this would be in the remake, and sure enough,it is!!!!! my favorite track,of the whole game!!!

True. While I was younger, I thought the Bongo Drums represented the Boss' heritage. I assumed him to be a South Afrikaner crime lord.
