Exactly what i needed, i got a saab 900c 1987 non turbo 2 months ago. I where not intrested in cars and had no intentions to buy a car, it just happend that day. I was so impressed a 1987 car managed to get me home, very quickly im attached to this thing and want to take care of it. I have not done anything to it yet, because im still in researching phase.
I owned a 1989 Saab 900 2 door saloon in Australia. It was more than 20 years old at the time and of course had problems but hey it was a great car to drive!
My first car was a 1996 Saab 900 S. It was my father's old car. The heated seat elements often do go bad on those, but I don't usually see them catch fire like that so that's a bit concerning. Hopefully you're able to get that issue resolved!
Good luck! Like to see more of the car, because they are (getting) rare! I spent loads of money on my Saab 9-3 cabriolet 2001 (really) and I enjoy driving it so much!
That’s interesting, 9000s are really rare here. I want to get a nice 97 9000 someday. I currently have an 02 9-5 Aero and a 08 9-5 Aero Wagon, both with stage 3 tuning. I love these cars.
The centre console lower shelf hold two olerex coffee cups:D kui veidi abi/juppe selle mudeliga vaja siis saan alati abistada. Ca 15 aastat nendega juba tegelenud...
@@tiredandexhausted Maybe it was the camera angle. I thought the lights weren't properly illuminating the switches at the 7:34 mark. Glad they are working. And that the heated seat didn't leave you with a scar!
@@stephenmorrissey1254 Oh those lights. I thought you meant the ones illuminating the speedometer and other dials. We can look into those lights :) Thanks for the support!
Funnily enough I’m looking at a green 1991 coupe that hasn’t been on the road for over 6 years, but the body is a bit better than this, and I’m wondering whether I want yet another project car or not.
I owned this very exact car 7 years back! It was very nice to drive. Soft suspension, quiet and made me feel very gentlemanly :D Sorry for the Turbo badges disappointment...
You could go fast for cheap. Fact was, and still is, turbo petrol cars sucked twice the amount of petrol than regular 🤣. Still do when you really floor it

Welcome to the Saab club. I’ve got a 92 vert.
Always liked the green...
Thanks!
Thanks for this video, from a Saab fan in the US.
Glad you liked it!
Really enjoyed this video, thanks for posting. Love the new Saab, looking forward to seeing you do a few more fixes on it soon. Take care my friend.
Thanks for the kind words! Means a lot.

Glad you did not get more burned! Gosh! Great material 😀
Haha yes, the smoke was a clear sign to stop the car 😄 thanks!
Great video and good luck on the Saab 900 Journey :D
I own 9-3 og and e46, glad to see this project
Good luck with your projects! Thanks for the support!
Nice, I drive a 9000, and really want a 900, it is becoming really rare where I live. But 9000 is an easy find.
Both are pretty rare here, but the 900 is legendary 😌

I have a 1991 SAAB 900 TURBO Convertible Beryl Green and I L♡VE It!
Nice looking both of you
I love Saab💞
Thanks!
Congrats. I hope to own one in the future. Currently driving my 5th saab, 9-5 arc 😄
Thanks! It's my third, I also own a 2006 9-3 Aero. Hope you will get a 900, it really is a classic!

Good to know 😄
I'd like to see you replace the dashboard lights.
Can I ask why? They are working fine 😄

When do we get an update? :)
Congrats, great car. I also wnated the 900 but chickened out and got the 93 I cuz it’s easier to maintain.
Thanks 👍

Holy crap! Glad you found the channel! Well now I just have to switch the engine for the turbo so the badges match :D

Yes. But petrol was cheap and you had to pay a lot more money for something else that would go that fast
No turbo with a turbo badge????
Yes, I explained it in the video. A previous owner had put on the badges. I will probably remove them in the future but I can't just rip them off 🙂
Any progress updates on the Saab?
Just posted a new episode a few days ago. Subscribe to keep up to date 😉
OG ? What's that?

Mees, sa jutustasid mõnes kohas ju sõna-sõnalt teiste kanalite saabivideode teksti ümber, see pole lahe.
Päris ebalahe tõesti
