The painter would ask you somewhere around #Rs.2000 USD to #Rs.3000 (about US$40 to US$50 to give it a new look and cartage extra.

Give New Look to an Old metal Wardrobe in just Rupees 600/- only (about US$10) and for this the following Material has been used by me:
Metal primer 1/2 Ltr.
Asian oil paint (glossy)1/2 Ltr.
2 Brushes for paint.
Tarpin oil small bottle for dilute in the paint. [Also called oil of turpentine, spirit of turpentine]
Paint Thinner small bottle for deep your brushes and strains.
Regmar 150 number (Sand paper 150 number)
Total Expenditure INR ₹600 approx (Less than US$10 only)

Yes aap usko thoda patla karne ke liye mix kar sakte hain but karna thoda hi bahut jayada mat dal dena aap 1 ltr.primer main 200 ml tarpin oil mix karna

App me white oil paint and apcolite premium enamel gloss colour mix kar ka use kara hay sirf apcolite premium enamel gloss red colour use kar sakta hay kay???
Yes aap use kr skte hai, sirf red enamel gloss use krenge to only 1 coat will be enough

You can ask the hardware shopkeeper about the colour and the shades as I am not familiar with the number and do tell the shopkeeper that you want the paint for metal!

Mam paint karne se pehle primer karna jaruri h?? And paint mein tarpin oil dalna jaruri h ya uske bina bi paint use kar sakte h???
Agar aapki almirah jyada kharab condition main nahi hai toa first coat se hi ho jaayega means ki aapko primer ki jaroorat nahi hai
Tarpin oil toa paint ko patla karne ke liye mix karna hota hai wo jaroori hai nahi toa brush theek se chalega nahi agar paint gadha hua toa

I only painted the front side and the left right sides but you can paint the back side of the almirah if you want! And my almirah was fine from the inside so I did not paint it! Thank you so much for watching😊

If your almirah's condition is quite poor then it is a must but if it is good & fine no need of primer!

Instead of white colour can we take any other colour and dilute it with turpine oil
Look, if you have a desired colour you want to paint, simply use it directly by diluting it, else you can use white paint and use stainer to give colour of your choice. Just take care to add small small quantity till desired colour appears.
didi please can u tell me if i should remove the old paint and then apply the primer? mine is in bad shape and chipped paint in many places... TIA
Yes, if the old painted layer is chipping off then you have to remove it and then apply primer.

Bus ye dhyan rakhna ki jab pahla coat completely dry ho jaaye tabhi 2nd coat karna and agar aapki almirah pahle coat main hi sahi lag rahi hai toa 2nd coat ki jaroorat nahi padegi

Video is very nyc but it might be better if you have explained more clearly about primer and things as it went little fast for beginners
I think, you haven't watched the complete video. The uneven areas do require putty for filling rough surfaces. As far as primer is concerned it may be purely your choice. As the video was made with already available stuff at home, I shoot it that way only. The viewers are free to ask in case of any doubt, I will be pleased to answer your queries.

Aapne ye nahi bataya ki kitna Jung laga hai jyada hai toa putty se cover karna padega or agar kam hai toa regmark lagakar paint kar dena but paint shine wala hi hona chahiye and jab pahla coat completely dry ho jaaye tabhi 2nd coat lagana

I think I should not name any perticular brand as of now. It depends upon your trusted choice and availability in your local market. Better to explore and have a word with the local vendor. 🇮🇳

You can use only asian glossy paint it gives shine on your almirah
What is the method of spaying colour
Normally professionals use spray gun. I won't advise use of spray gun at home as it spoil your other stuffs like mirrors etc.with marks of paint droplets 💦. Also, spray gun came costly and rarely used at homes. You can try roller if you wish. For spray plz cover all other items in a room first and then do. The method of using spray gun would be there in the booklet provided with it.

Primer colors come in black, red, gray, and white. Black primer is used when you want to paint your wardrobe black or a very dark colour. If you want to paint yr metallic wardrobe in light shade, use primer accordingly.
