The ad for Falstaff Beer might've came from his time working at Playhouse Pictures, where he first animated the Peanuts characters for Ford and their Falcon automobiles.
I’m actually not sure. It was listed in “commercials” on Bill’s website, which is why I included it. It was too interesting not to include in this video, though I do wonder what the context of it was.

I blame UPA for giving him that approach to animate too.
That flunking school animation is pretty damn dark for something I can only assume was animated in the 80's. And I love it because of that.
