Hi. Can you give me permission to take screenshots from this video for my MacOS app introduction for how users can give permission and use my app? Thank you very much for the video.
Great video, my first time in your channel, I recently got MacOS Sonoma, I have a question, I has been trying to download some free trial music software production from Izotope. But I can’t open them. They has been download as the windows show me, but Whean I wanna to open it, they don’t open. Is there any tip you can give me, it will be very helpful. I hope u can help me. Thks 🙏🏻
It really helped me in 2024 in my MacPro mid 2014 . I installed macOS Big Sur and I couldn't open even Firefox or other note app, so I had to do what you did here and open the apps from the .exe file and everything was solved!
i am getting this message "This operation is no longer supported. To disable the assessment subsystem, please use configuration profiles." pls advise ...
im having trouble since activating this with apps not responding often taking longer to open than the previous way of just manualy veryfiing them, not sure if its because my mac is just old and slow, but can i use the same command and replace disable with enable to change it back?
My landlord has the system locked down so tight I don't even have the option to allow installation of an unidentified developer app. I just want to use a USB antenna on my iMac because I get terrible speeds and I can't find an antenna that will work without a driver. Sometimes the speed is so low that speedtest won't even run. He says we have 500Mb Spectrum internet. Something isn't right and he's not willing to help me.
Apple restricts apps from running if they are downloaded from internet or box folder/drop box. Download in another computer, copy it to your system using USB most of the time it works.
Does anyone know what to do if that allow option is not present in security & privacy settings? Just updated to 14.4 and before and after it doesn't show up for new installed App.
Closest I ever found was opening the terminal and typing the following Sudo spctl --master-disable then enter your password. If you open and close your settings, the option Anywhere will be available. Hopefully that helps.@@robert_ofm
@@robert_ofm Me too. I'm on Mac OS Ventura and in the Security section there's no option for Allow. Follow the video's instruction by going into Terminal and typing the necessary command line, restart Mac and yet the "Anywhere" still did not appear.....
Can you describe your question further? Use spacebar when typing, or are you wanting to create a directory? I dont understand your usage of "space" in terminal. Terminal command line....so typing.
