Seasons. More survival stuff. More clothing. Building fortifications, like window and door barricades. The ability for zombies to break down the doors and windows if they are not barricaded. A new official map would be nice. And generally late game content. Something to do after you geared up other than pvp. Maybe just make it more interesting to build bases. Maybe metal working with a blowtorch and a mask to ad metal barricades. Make water catchers. Ad to the farming and fishing. Maybe a more in dept cooking system. Just stuff to do late game that is not directly pvp related. More goals to work towards. I mostly get bored once i have everything. And base building is very limited. Usable furniture that can be moved maybe, so people can make a home out of their base. All the furniture in the game are just indestructible props right now, would be cool if you could move it and place it in your base. There are lot's of things they could ad.
yeah i like this idea allot to be fair.. would add to some kind of feeling of accomplishment. The more days you have survived too you could rock different characters if you choose too! that would be awesome!

Nah bro, the infected are way too annoying at the moment. You can’t run, and you can’t fight more than 1 at the same time without trading damage. It’s so frustrating. Hell, even when you block they run behind you!
It would be beautiful if they added a dynamic horde growth system example in the walking dead zombies stick together after they bump into eachother just following the other zombies footsteps

More tactical gear, more camo patterns, spray paint needs to make a comeback, they need to continue to figure out the vehicle mechanics/physics etc. New guns, gear, modding capabilities. I'd love to see a new map too. Maybe namalsk, or something new.
I think they should add different backpacks jackets and definitely some masks also I would love to see some new base deployables such as gun racks, workbench’s stuff u can place for display I’ve got a good feeling this year.
yeah i think the base building needs more work to make it feel more worthwhile than just storing stuff. Being abe to customise it would be awesome! Workbenches to make custom equipment too would be sick!
I would like to see a system whereby unless you are killed by a head shot your character comes back as a zombie with all your gear on. When you come back from the coast you have to kill your old character to get your loot back.
Yeahh apparently the devs are not keen on this.. I'm not sure if that's due to the technical difficulties or what. But yeah I'd love that feature! Would be awesome trying to find your old loot that's wondering around haha
Doesn’t support the lore. They aren’t zombies , they are infected and any humans on the map are immune . But like someone else said , there are some pc servers that do have that feature
i would like to see new snipers and dmrs a bigger backpack with more space cooler more tactical outfits and more storage options for my base gun racks safes etc.
Better military backpacks would be cool as well , like add military style ones that aren't just the current military or the huge one Like maybe one that's between 16 - 32 slots or 32 - 80
being able to add friends quicker rather than them dying after buddying up and you forgot who the player was after they die. Also a record of your longest time in the game would be cool.

I really hope they improve the pve aspect of the game after all, the game is called dayZ ( A BIG Z HERE) it's about zombies and survival, always about that and second is surviving against players, nowdays, dayz is just another "battleroyale" per say, because people just spawn to find weapons and kill people, just that, see big streamers, 90% of them don't even bother about have a base, or save food, medicines, they don't try to "really" survive that infected world. Zombies should be a greater threat just like players, even special infected, like people said in the comments, hordes of zombies, smarter ones, in moded servers zombies even throw rocks at u if you climb in a container and they can't reach u, open doors via "Punches", in others zombies instantly give u some infection or cuts and won't stop hunting u down
a mod where you can see your teammate or put markers down similar to the PC rearmed servers would be good for you guys, you seen those servers? thats what you see JLK and those guys on! also the guy who made namalsk is now working for bohemia so i wouldnt be suprised if that gets on to the official maps list some time later this year! You guys would love that!
Im a little late to this video but, even though it's not a massive thing I'd like to actually pick my own appearance of my character rather than pick a preset.. I'm sure they have mods on pc that give you that option but I'm more of an official server type of guy.
Yeah man I agree.. I think being able to create yourself in the game is a pretty easy ish feature with a big lay off for allot of fans. Suprised its not been done yet.
Tbh i just want the game to be more polished me and my friend kept falling through the map, inventory won’t come up, glitching out in doorways/fences also the game has rendering issues sometimes the grass will appear and disappear

yeah cross play would be a real nice benefit for DayZ on console because your already seculded from the PC side of the game so they should at least bring you guys together! Hell yeah man i see and try to reply to all my comments man! Yeah mate its well worth checking out! its really slow and it takes a different aproach than allot of other games. There is a fair bit to learn but once you have the grips of it your all set for having a blast! Id recommend trying out some deathmatch servers to get used to the controls rather than the official servers. Be prepared to have to look up how to do everything on this game too haha Allot of DayZ players dont even play offical they play community servers with mods tailored to different play styles! I have a video im making right now on a breakdown of the main map, Chernarus! So check that out if you do download it ;) haha

Tbh I feel like they really just need to add more zombies it doesn’t feel as dangerous as it should feel especially wen your strictly on pve or maybe make it so that a portion of the zombies come in hordes idk but zombies definitely need a rework
Fully agree, they are much better than back in the day but its time we get a new rework of the zombie gameplay. I agree, we need horde type features and more some variations possibly some larger mutated variants in contaminated areas, just something, anything new to spice it up!
Just go to the community tab and search for some severs that have the zombies tuned way up. I often play on a PVE sever that has dozens upto to a hundred zombies in certain areas.
I miss running my own server. It just became too much of a ballache reworking it every few months when the game files changed substantially. All this talk of better zombie spawns, random hordes etc, I accomplished a long time ago, after spending weeks manually editing existing spawns and adding tons more. Nowhere was safe, and the world felt a lot more populated. The previous safety of wooded areas was removed and made even more dangerous than towns as you have nowhere to run when you accidentally aggro a horde lurking in the middle of nowhere.
The console version is really stale, especially on the building side of things. The fact that there is gates/walls, watchtowers, flag poles, and crates is boring. They should really consider a building update it would be much easier to create and balance and would make many more fans of the game since many can't afford a pc and already have consoles just my opinion.
yeah I played allot on console between my first and newest PC, its not as bad as people say but I agree it does feel stale in certain areas. What main things would you want in a building update? iv not played console DayZ in ahwile so im out the loop with where it is at now
A actual door instead of just a truck sized gate, a window with shudders instead of just a solid wall, a ceiling of some sort, and a foundation to keep everything level most likely with some sort of stair system.
An offroad motorbike capable of popping wheelies so i can scramble up some but not all rocky terrain (player skill dependant) that has been my dreem addition for some time, while i wait for that it would be great to see a zombie horde system where 4 pluss infected are able to breach doors ,,,or smash through windows. working helicopters tthey just need to do this dont tease me with april fools jets maybe make the infected move around more like players so its harder to tell from a distance if that was a player you spotted or just one of the new infected.
absolutely need the hordes! great idea! Yeah man more realistic infected is really needed it would change everything for the better! As for the offroad bike as long as im not getting chased by groups of mad max lunatics every 5 minutes im in haha
yeah console is in a difficult position, i used to be allot of console DayZ for about a year. The devs are working on stuff for console this year so hopefuly you get some kind of basic mod ability.
Yeah man some decent base building that makes it more worthwhile would be nice! workbenches, computers to create clans and email across the map to other groups! just some interesting stuff that adds to the gameplay! what base building stuff are you thinking?
The thing that will change dayz to the best survival game is probabaly better engine and zombies that are like dying light where they properly swing and bite you and walk run all of it would be amazing to change when they can

Let me craft a stew! Calorie bonus. More craft able items, ie; bow and arrow. Caves and such. Current ones too close and well known. More hunting options. Like 2 tops. And maps for console players. Lol

We need guns to do realistic damage, hitting some1 3 to 4 times with a tundra is a liberty, especially when your a solo, trying to fend off a 4 man squad
yeah man i much prefer realistic damage in game. I think it might be so players have some what of a chance to get away. One shots could make the game very frustrating and make everyone avoid any conflict.
They really need to develop the console side of things like I said the consul sides getting a bit outdated and it's going to get left behind and not bringing many new players even though it's such a great game
I havnt played console DayZ in about a year, what kind of stuff would you say it needs the most to bring it back up to date? I always thought its a shame console players miss out on allot of the modded stuff because really thats kinda where DayZ shines!
@Leotovik I own DayZ on all consoles I bought Dayz back when it was a beta on Steam but my PC sucked. Just feels like it's missing so much like the loot spawn only works if you throw everything out the door. You should be able to use a rope and rags as sling to make a backpack similar to the school bag. Just feels like even the controls on Console is way be hidden its time

But yeah the loot on console is awful like it's a dead giveaway if somebody is experienced in playing on console the only way you get loot in the areas is throwing everything outside the door it makes you a big Target especially if you're first starting out and a bunch of fresh people ran through not knowing anyting and not to mention that people cut up bodies inside buildings you have to get all that stuff out for the building the spawn Loot and it sucks if it's a police station or anything like that

I just want to see a new handgun. I’m a massive handgun fan, and I want to see something like a burst or auto pistol, or maybe a small .22 revolver that can spawn the same places the derringer can
They say the won’t add cosmetic BS but last update was exactly that and the next update is silly too 😂 Don’t get me wrong I’m a solid supporter of this game and have been playing it since the MODs launch but the last update and new one in terms of items seems to contradict what they said 🤪
@@CLIKRAD that's nice. People can be pretty hostile in game and you never know if someone will pull out a gun and start shooting as soon as you let your guard down. I try to be friendly for the most part but encountering other players always makes me kinda nervous.
They need to add a bicycle to the game let's be honest dayz is set in a Russian setting they have bicycles everywhere would be great for silent fast travelling across the map
FIx the cars so they dont get damaged so easily. The game is glitchy at best so its stupid that radiators and spark plugs get ruined with a gentle tap. Bring codelocks into official. Get rid of those stupid combination locks.

Yeah this is kind of apart of DayZ, beleive it or not but there used to be allot more spawns being inland too. I hear you tho, running all the way back to find your mate for half an hour is an absolute mood killer.

Yeah same here both Livonia and chernarus I spawn in look around and almost instantly see where I am and which direction I need to go. I want to have the feeling of being totally lost and just picking a direction completely random and discovering things for the first time again. I will never use the izurvive app again. That ruined Livonia for me quite quickly.
Feels like we need a new game like dayz it's still a great game but feels like it's getting out dated and left behind other then the hard core fans that love the game don't feel like many new players will be interested
imagine instead of zombies u had AI factions that existed in the larger cities and would send out parties to gather supplies...each of these "factions" or cities would have a rep system one could build or destroy allowing for some interesting engagements, trades, betrayal... its this ai one would combat as well as other players...removal of the jank zombies imo would be most ideal...ive owned it since day 1 and day1 exp vs now for a new player isnt much different...deal w/the whack melee jank zombie animations
yeah iv always been a big fan of this idea! I agree i think an AI system with settlements would make for sure really interesting engagement, things like if a group of players has high rep they can take refuge from bandit players where the AI protect them from inside their area. This with the trades you mentioned would be awesome!

yeah there needs to be some reasonable changes to the core game to be fair. I love that its a hard game to play but barely anyone plays official that have played DayZ for some time. It gets old fast dying to starvation over and over! Couldnt agree more as long as they find the right balance and dont make it too easy! They need to get a grip of those cheaters too thats for sure!

Loot drops would have to be worth it. It would either be feast or famine or draw players into pvp or co-op sticking to dayz roots.

All they did for zombie fights is make it so the zombies ruin your clothes even when you're blocking.
nothing worse that freezing your balls off after a zombie ruined your fav parka

they should add a map or a way to invite your teammates so you can atleast see there outlined player

I think build anywhere should be stock in the game, I'm not huge on building but when I want to build it's a pain to build well on official servers

yeah console is in a difficult position, i used to be allot of console DayZ for about a year. The devs are working on stuff for console this year so hopefuly you get some kind of basic mod ability.

We need guns to do realistic damage, hitting some1 3 to 4 times with a tundra is a liberty, especially when your a solo, trying to fend off a 4 man squad
yeah man i much prefer realistic damage in game. I think it might be so players have some what of a chance to get away. One shots could make the game very frustrating and make everyone avoid any conflict.
They really need to develop the console side of things like I said the consul sides getting a bit outdated and it's going to get left behind and not bringing many new players even though it's such a great game
I havnt played console DayZ in about a year, what kind of stuff would you say it needs the most to bring it back up to date? I always thought its a shame console players miss out on allot of the modded stuff because really thats kinda where DayZ shines!
@Leotovik I own DayZ on all consoles I bought Dayz back when it was a beta on Steam but my PC sucked. Just feels like it's missing so much like the loot spawn only works if you throw everything out the door. You should be able to use a rope and rags as sling to make a backpack similar to the school bag. Just feels like even the controls on Console is way be hidden its time

@@CLIKRAD that's good then I don't know when I'll be able to get a good enough PC to play it on PC. But yeah the loot on console is awful like it's a dead giveaway if somebody is experienced in playing on console the only way you get loot in the areas is throwing everything outside the door it makes you a big Target especially if you're first starting out and a bunch of fresh people ran through not knowing anyting and not to mention that people cut up bodies inside buildings you have to get all that stuff out for the building the spawn Loot and it sucks if it's a police station or anything like that
@@gamerpro729 Yeah man PCs are bloody expensive but for sure worth it in the long run! DayZ is on another level on PC like to be fair. Yeah that sounds absolutely mental, that must drive people nuts having to do that. I bet its easier to just wait for the server to reset? or run to another location

@@CLIKRAD that's nice. People can be pretty hostile in game and you never know if someone will pull out a gun and start shooting as soon as you let your guard down. I try to be friendly for the most part but encountering other players always makes me kinda nervous.
They need to add a bicycle to the game let's be honest dayz is set in a Russian setting they have bicycles everywhere would be great for silent fast travelling across the map

FIx the cars so they dont get damaged so easily. The game is glitchy at best so its stupid that radiators and spark plugs get ruined with a gentle tap. Bring codelocks into official. Get rid of those stupid combination locks.
yeah the cars are a pain in the ass in official! better all around base protection and raiding is in need of work for sure, codelocks would help with that!

Yeah this is kind of apart of DayZ, beleive it or not but there used to be allot more spawns being inland too. I hear you tho, running all the way back to find your mate for half an hour is an absolute mood killer.

Yeah same here both Livonia and chernarus I spawn in look around and almost instantly see where I am and which direction I need to go.
I want to have the feeling of being totally lost and just picking a direction completely random and discovering things for the first time again.
I will never use the izurvive app again. That ruined Livonia for me quite quickly.
Feels like we need a new game like dayz it's still a great game but feels like it's getting out dated and left behind other then the hard core fans that love the game don't feel like many new players will be interested
imagine instead of zombies u had AI factions that existed in the larger cities and would send out parties to gather supplies...each of these "factions" or cities would have a rep system one could build or destroy allowing for some interesting engagements, trades, betrayal...
its this ai one would combat as well as other players...removal of the jank zombies imo would be most ideal...ive owned it since day 1 and day1 exp vs now for a new player isnt much different...deal w/the whack melee jank zombie animations
yeah iv always been a big fan of this idea! I agree i think an AI system with settlements would make for sure really interesting engagement, things like if a group of players has high rep they can take refuge from bandit players where the AI protect them from inside their area. This with the trades you mentioned would be awesome!

While you drive down the road your system glitches, when you log on...if u r lucky lol...your vehicle is gone and the 8 hours you spent fixing it, filling it with supplies....all of your efforts wasted. Great game lmfao

How about reverse the durability change that made literally everything broken stop adding new annoying tedious ways to get hurt or making us starve even faster the game will never have aaa mass appeal because most people want to have fun not spend 4 hours just to die to some bullshit mechanic or glitch officials are dead because cheaters dupers and alts and they just keep making the game more "hardcore" for the sake of being able to call it hardcore
yeah there needs to be some reasonable changes to the core game to be fair. I love that its a hard game to play but barely anyone plays official that have played DayZ for some time. It gets old fast dying to starvation over and over! Couldnt agree more as long as they find the right balance and dont make it too easy! They need to get a grip of those cheaters too thats for sure!
