I love the Emax AVAN 3582 with my 3.5 baby hawk 2 HD and still my go to prop for my other 2.5 , 3.5 , and 5 inch. I love how they grab the air. A low pitch prop is great on the battery.
I liked the Avan props too in the beginning but on my 3“ and 3.5“ they broke a lot more specially in colder weather. Not sure if that still is an issue.
@@McLogo76 yeah they can be a little brittle I wish they would make them where they bend a little but they are stiff enough in the summer months but your right The cold makes all your gear brittle.
@@McLogo76 here a helpful tip. The props you use are UV sensitive and if you have a high power UV flashlight it makes the props or what every bright TPU glow and if you lose your quad you can find it even if it's stuck in a tall tree. This is how I find the ones I lose in open fields when the battery is elected and can't be found during the day. So I wait till dusk and go where I think it went down and turn that UV BEAST flashlight on and you'll find it quickly.
Cool comprasion bro, i also prefer 3520 on 1604 motors, but now I have Volador 3.5 with 1804 motors. And 3520ndont fly that good as on 1604,so I want to try 3525.
Very interesting. how heavy is it overall? I uses to like the HQ 3.5x2.x3 on quads below 250g - 1404 Motors and now the HQ 3520 on 300g with 1604. I wonder what fits the 1804 best. Have fun bro! 👍
@@kellywasden It's kind of soft mounted on TPU parts. But I guess it wouldn't need it. Got it mounted on a PETG cam mount on my T1 Ranger. I have heard however that too soft doesn't work well like Mario frame or similar. I recommend replacing the mounts with TPU und trying that.
@@McLogo76 it’s hard hey, I am still only on sim for that one as I need to get a little more used to inverted visuals ha ha ha But yeah they still looked good I liked it. But I feel ya on the dual input it would make it snappier too hey with the dual rate input.
@@BIRDYFPV130 I'm a lot on the sim lately too 😉 learned a few new things and practicsed them -> then tried it in real. It works, just needs repetitions 👍 But the most important thing - Have fun! 😉
Awesome flying 💯😎👍👍✈️

I need some of them props. Nice flyin'
@@hi_desert_rat Thanks 👍 I think it's worth testing the few 3.5" props that are available to see what suits you best 😉

On the smaller Size drones i prefer the low pitch too.
@@o_mtb1925 Yeah, just gives more feeling for the throttle / more accuracy isn"t it.

I use the 3520 Gemfan hurrican with the 1604 t motors 2850kv and it flies perfect for me.
@@SaschaMittag Me too, they suit my build nicely 👍
On the moonlight cam, did you keep it as soft mount or did you hard mount it? All of mine seem to jello unless I rip off the yellow soft dampeners.

Are you single sticking those inverted Yaw spins?
most of the time yes, but trying to get used to do them properly with both to be able to do it at any angle. 😉
