I have both , Max and Max 2, I love both , I think if ASICS cut the outsole into half( left/right) , it would give it more flexibility and cushioning, letting the midsole to spread ! Check Brooks Cascadia 17 outsole. Maybe Max3 👍🏻
Looks sweeeet as! Hope they bring a GTX version as that would be killer I reckon.... the Peg Trail 3 and 4 GTX hit the mark so far for wet high-stack running, but the Trabuco might looks mighty good especially with Blast+!
Love the novablast 3 tr but not really stable for true trails this is the perfect answer! The foam is freaking amazing . The blast plus has durability!!!
The lockdown of v1 was really bad for a shoe that otherwise felt good. Retired my v1 just last week after less then 100 km in 2 years! I hope the upper and the lockdown improved a lot but I need some more praises from reviewers before I will give v2 a try.
My version 1 has now 909.5 km down and I'm waiting eagerly for the new version, in pictures also looks really good (men's version). Finally a decent scrape and no longer this huge garage for this. I just hope that comes a design with black sole, this is more durable than the colored.
Just needed to fix the tongue and laces on the V1. This could have been a third trail line for them. Not sure how I feel about 43mm of squish for the technical trails around here.
Yes asics it was about time for u guys to compete with hokas on the trails I'll be grabbing some of the Trabuco max I hope they feel as good as they look but for GODS sake I hope they will be cheaper then speed goats
I really enjoy Asics and would like to try but for an ultra 50k, isn't the stack to high? Especially on technical terrain I am wondering if I would prefer still some cushion but not too much. Thoughts?
Trabuco 11 will be coming out soon - that's got a rockplate for more protection and lower to the ground. 4.5mm lugs. I'll be looking into that shoe for big mountain runs where the terrain is more technical. I'll be trying out the Max 2 for a 100K that's not terribly technical.

I have a friend that put 900 kms on the Trabuco Max. And then there’s you :)). I will definitely be buying the V2❤
