- In this video, Australian treasure hunter Ed heads to the beach to show what The Legend’s Beach Mode can do! Starting with completely stock settings we see what’s possible on a ‘turn on & go’ beach hunt in the Beach multi-wet mode on the Nokta Legend.
Ed demonstrates the ‘Bottle Cap Rejection’ feature in Software Version 1.11 as well as a several unique beach detecting tips and tricks during the hunt.
This video is the second instalment in a series of video’s helping you get to know The Legends features, settings, and more advanced options, with live in-field digs and tips.

Humm I wouldn't discriminate your pull tap the way you did or you will be missing some interesting targets .
Ok ,i have a question? U say u have the machine on factory settings correct, then why is the meter on top set too two and not one.? I know setting 1 picks up iron correct?
I was searching in default for a while. Nice experience since it is so quiet. Anyway, it is missing small gold with stability set at 5.
Did you try other settings?
How many tones did you use during this detection? I'm not sure which one to use, 1, 2, 4, 60 or P. Which one did you use during this demonstration?
What recovery speed did you use during the hunt? The default for Beach mode?

I'm a total beginner and my previous machine is an at pro so I bought a legend I've had it for a couple of weeks but not been out with it yet, this video has helped a lot but I live in Wales and I think due to the water being colder am I right in saying that salinity levels would be less and so less conductive?
What settings do you use on the beach system? It is very stable. Please share it so that people can benefit.

So don’t do that in fresh water? What abt if the sand has a lot of iron and copper stratification?

And that rock well it could of been a piece of a meteorite i didn't see any sharp edges on it and it looked black to me. I mean I could be wrong i am color blind but there are ways to check that out at home.

Thank you so much for this. I am new to this and bought a Xterra Pro but it leaked the second time i took it in the water. I was afraid the Legend would be too complicated but looks like it works great in the salt on Nokta's settings.
