“28 seconds, one of the best times we’ve ever had!” And then the next three rounds are progressively faster. I guess those are the silly things you say when you’ve got enough hairspray in your hair to blow a hole the size of Texas in the ozone layer
John, Carol, Shane & Cathy and Julie, Robert, Valerie & Dave are the two teams competing on this episode. Also playing are today's two celebrities: Bonnie Urseth and Michael J. Fox.
I thought Go was a mediocre show. It was basically just the bonus game of Chain Reaction to the next level and I felt like it wasn't creative enough. However I felt Kevin O' Connel was a great host. So much so that I wish he had a better career with game shows. The All New Crosswits would've been a great show for him.
Very sound observation! I agree. The trouble with "GO" is the viewer only go to watch, there was no play along factor, unless you closed your eyes I guess.
@@jmiller297 Pyramid got big because of all the money it was giving away. With this show the Top prize was either $10,000 or $20,000 depending on how the game went and you had to split that money 4 ways since it was a team whereas with Pyramid the money you won wasn't divided. Pyramid in general though is massively overrated I agree. It's basically the Lightning Round from Password but with 30 seconds in the main game and 60 seconds in the bonus game along with definitions, it didn't innovate anything other than the amount of money being given away on Game shows, and that's just one of the many problems that I have with Bob Stewart Game Shows when he went independent.
I always liked how the wall changed colors in between rounds
Wow ,Michael J.Fox and Bonnie Urseth on Go, very adorable.
thanks for the newly found episode of GO!
Kevin O'Connell later became a weatherman here in Buffalo, NY!
He was there previously before coming to Southern California but will return to his old city
This is a November '83 episode of the American '80s game show "Go!" (it already ended on NBC). 🇺🇲 🇺🇲
In Buffalo, this aired on WGRZ Ch 2 at 11:30 opposite The Price is Right on WIVB Ch 4 (Kevin's old station) so they'll see their old hometown kid
nice channel i like the concept and the videos

Bonnie Urseth vs. Michael J. Fox on GO
Beth Sorensen vs. Alex P. Keaton
@3:50,John won big on Super Password, in 1985 (which, ironically replaced Go's timeslot, in 1984)
Excellent! How'd you find this? I was one of the contestants for that full week. What a gas seeing this again.
What team were you on?
This show aired on GSN in Fall 1997-early 1998 in its entirety. CBN in 1985-86 aired the entire episode run, 78 shows, for three cycles.

True but it had a very memorable set. I remember it as a 2 yr and it burned in my memory until I found it on TH-cam years ago

Michael J. Fox was from "Back To The Future".
