Silent Hill 2 Remake - fell through the map and became the sun

so this is what happens when you fall through the map in Toluca prison.
not sure if this is relevant but my game runs EXTREMELY badly. I'm talking drops to litterally 3fps. Would have quit if I didn't love this game so much...
