I have a LLTA, nice big thick strap with a lock on it, yes its tight but never hints its going to fall off. I love this guitar!

What is the difference between the FS-TA and the LS-TA apart from price point? Any major improvements or differences that are very noticable? Would love your opinion. Cheers!

Problem with traditional acoustics is that you need a small acoustic room to sound gud! These solve that problem without an amp!

Is that Manowar in the background? Or just oily muscle men for inspirational purposes? Haha

After all the hype...I finally got the $ and decided to take the plunge!
    SUCH A LETDOWN!
I bought a Breedlove instead. Prettier, better sounding... and $100 cheaper!
    Never regretted my decision

Maciej Bednarski no idea. I tend to busk my way through demos. I’m sure there’s a song out there is the same as this but I was just playing what felt good at the time.

I like Yamaha, I've played Transacoustics, and I own an LSTA, but I'm sorry they do have a serious design flaw.
I realise even expensive electro-acoustics can have hopelessly inadequate end jack strap buttons, but this is the worst.
You can't get most straps onto it at all, and if you do they fall off - and you can't fit any kind of strap lock.
It's somewhat ironic because the manual says to do just that if you want to avoid damaging your £800 guitar - I've been arguing with management the only way to do that is to forget about playing standing up, but they're brushing me off.
The real killer is that even if you do wangle something on there you have to remove it every time you change the batteries (and it eats batteries) because the numpty who designed it also put the battery compartment right by the strap button jack.
It didn't even come with a front strap button, so that's extra, but just as well since you can at least fit a proper one yourself!
And it's all totally unnecessary - I have a Yamaha AC3R and it has 2 really deep strap buttons, including and end jack, that will take any strap and any strap lock - plus the battery compartment is on the shoulder so you don't need to remove the strap - why didn't they just stick with that design?
Finally, I don't rate the TA's plain acoustic - you do need the effects on - and I don't rate them plugged in either - if you want to play through an amp or PA the AC3 sounds great, and it has a much bigger range of controls to tweak your sound.
So I'm sorry but as far as I'm concerned the Transacoustics are a one trick pony - nice trick, but only one, plus design problems...

Yes, it is - and it's so unnecessary, careless and ridiculous. I have a cheaper Yamaha AC3R and it has really deep strap buttons, including the endpin jack, so that you can fit any strap and any strap lock. Why didn't they just use those? Probably because they aint heard 'if it aint broke don't fix it!' Not only that but the AC3 series sound better unplugged, and especially plugged in because they have an amazing preamp system - check it out. The only way the Transacoustics beat them is if you play both guitars unplugged, but with the on-board sound effects turned up on the TA!

Jesus are you going to spam your crappy strap issue in every video of a Yamaha Trans?
We get it and we don't care

It's a shame because I would have liked to thank you for an erudite and well-argued critique, but what positive benefits can be found in the potty-mouthed utterances of ignorance? Absolutely none, so why bother to make such a comment - it simply shows how damaged a person is and makes no contribution - what a wasted life.
