Vegan was not something that was talked about in the 1960s. What people ate or did not eat was a choice and the world did not need to know what that choice was.
🙋🏼♀️ The actress who played Pearl was Bea Benaderet. She also played Kate Bradley on Petticoat Junction at the same time. She was diagnosed with lung cancer and subsequently passed from it in 1968. 😢 She was only 62. Such a beautiful and MULTI TALENTED actress! May she RIP. 🙏🏻😇
Laurie Davis You couldn't help but love Bea Benaderet! She was such a lovely and talented actress and comedienne. She died so young and just when she was having so much success. What a terrible shame! Keep enjoying the oldies Laurie 😍
@@lauriedavis400 Ms. Benaderet was also working on Petticoat Junction and voicing Betty Rubble of The Flintstones as well as many guest appearances on other show at the same time as Beverly Hillbillies, before her health started to decline in '63 forcing her to cut back oh her workload. Hence, she dropped Beverly Hillbillies and The Flintstones.
It's weird that they didn't understand baseball. What I mean by that is, I'd have figured they'd at least have some sort of old fashioned style of it in the Ozarks, like stick ball.
Or she knows the difference between something she can make into a pet versus game for food and thinks "golfs are for eatin' ". But it doesn't explain that some of her pets are those they would normally eat.🐾😁

Elly has no sympathy for golfs because she has never seen a ⛳ golf
If elly cares so much about animals why does she have no sympathy for golfs.
