I liked the warhammer minifigures, had some skeleton warriors that i glued shields on their backs to block doorways and stuff. Painting them was a bit of a hassle but it was fun making a mess.
Yeah I guess the heroclix started out as only comic book characters but heroclix was later bought by a different company and was able to make other IPs into the mini figures
SO, these are pretty cool, but I'm sitting here comparing them to my collection of Sabertooth games LotR hex minis (which were also prepainted and blind booster based) from 2004 and the paint on wizkids figures is... underwhelming by comparison. Now, some of the hex minis could have a pretty derpy paint job too, but it seemed far less common. The figures being about 40% larger probably helped with that some, but I've still not been impressed with the wizkids figures enough to buy any.

Yeah I've always enjoyed miniature figures, something about them that is like a chess piece with it's only stats and purpose
@@TheNerdLair Yeah! And you can just make up these little rules as you go and don't need to buy all the gamepieces. 🙂
HeroClix was my first tabletop game. It's pretty straight forward. Hope your have as much fun with these as we did!
