I'm 'Old School, I only use drummer loops and I try edit them to my liking most times .I find it hard to use someone else's melody as I like to be as original as possible lol. I won't even get started about AI lol/ Greta vid thanks pal.
Thank you for the guidance! I've been struggling with GarageBand loops, key signatures, and transposing within the editor, so the music doesn't sound discordant. For example, if I select the key of Cm, and open the loops, which are in varying keys, it's hit or miss on selecting loops that will "go" nicely and harmonically with each other and with the other tracks. Are the loops automatically filtered once I select a key signature to those that will likely work with other tracks in that key? Do you have guidance that might help us Mac GarageBand users filter and winnow down from the many available loops those loops more likely than not to work with each other? And, if we find a loop we like but that seems to clash with the rest, are there steps generally for adjusting them using the transpose feature within the editor?
Always happy to get these nifty little helpers from you !
Glad you found it useful!

And you can grab those free loops into other DAW. I have my Reaper Media Explorer set to include the .caf files from GB. Also the GB drum kits.
Nice!

How do you get rid of all that loop data and just keep the one you really use?
