The best thing to do w/ Kara is to drop her in the middle of a horde; with her all-around damage ability, I have slaughtered some big scares, even large groups of ion troopers can be destroyed. She has the best dps of any of the free heroes, and has replaced the Empyrean Soul dude as my main hero.
