Got to catch these guys live opening for Mac Demarco back in September and it was quite a show. Their music is strangely catchy and their show is really fun.

This is one of the things I miss most about living in a car oriented city, randomly, or not so randomly, deciding to drive out to some kind of distant area I hadn't been to before or rarely see and enjoying the music along with it. I've lived in dense cities without a car for many years now, thinking cars and car oriented cities sucked, but I have a new appreciation for it. Relying on subways in a way traps you, keeping you mentally confined to the city and especially where it's densest and most convenient. The ride is much less enjoyable. Packed with people, dirty, noisy, not scenic at all since it's underground, the route and destination is extremely predictable, etc. Also, a lot of people are assholes or at least act like it in public in dense cities.
Their videos are really cute and cool to watch. Its kind of trademarked a look for their sound without being obvious. Do they come up with the ideas for them themselves?
