Such an amazing, dark, dreamy feeling. I used to listen to Midnight Odyssey albums every time when I had to travel 5 hours a day, because of the distance between my workplace and my home. Departing at dawn while the stars were still high, and arriving home by dusk under darkening skies, listening to this band was such an otherworldly, spiritual feeling. Made me wait those long travel hours, even if I often fell asleep to this dreamy feeling. Midnight Odyssey is so meaningful in my opinion. A real treat for the human soul.
I used to do long drives through the woods too and they are perfect for the journey...

i'm not sure how many times ive listened to this album now, but each and every time the journey it takes me on feels new and amazing
This album is as good as Funerals from the Astral Spheres or even better.Despite being a shorter album, when compared to the past ones, it definitely doesn't sacrifice the great atmosphere that Midnight Odyssey crafts superbly!
this one settles it, this band is the best pure atmospheric black metal in my book, the dreamy cosmic feeling is just so addicting... i can't even describe how it makes me feel

Check Alrakis... Different but cosmic trip beyond as well... For me the best space BM probably. At least in relaxing way

I've always seen Midnight Odyssey as a hidden jewel of BM because its embodiment of the true majestic splendor that has and always will be Black Metal and this is proof of that.
Man, I had totally forgotten about Dis Pater. He proves once again his talent for music and writing.
I love this band, quiet, slow, but relentless.
This is not just an album, this is a journey. In my opinion best midnight odyssey creation yet.

The opening of the first track has a strong Klaus Schulze "Timewind" vibe. I like it.
The Intro sounds like they're looking for gold with an Alien Metal detector and succeeding.

And because of midnight Odyssey I've discovered several dozens of bands from all different countries that expand upon atmospheric black metal and make it their own and it's totally limitless unlike any other genre of metal because everything is in atmospheric black it's folk it's acoustic in its ambient
I must have listened to this albums half a dozen times since I found it about a month ago. One of the best I have found this year. I REALLY hope there is a Biolume Part 2 at some point.
I really enjoy Midnight Odyssey's other albums (no vocals, usually) , but the vocals were so perfectly written and sung on this that they make this my favourite album of theirs yet.
When you lose faith in the scene and every so often these types of masterpieces appear. I would pay to see MO play live !!

Midnight Odyssey fans Im begging for help. Recently, youtube erased a fanmade unnoficial videoclip of the MO song "As dark and Omnious as stormclouds" by daupike. The point is that videoclip was a piece of art made with old medieval movies with a heavy and deep simbology, and its totally erased from this world. Im asking if someone here have that videoclip downloaded...it was my every night mantra for sleeping and I feel fear thinking I will not see it again..thank you guys, I appreciate any info, is important for me.

The genre is so far behind Dis Pater, who is in a class of his own.
You are comparing a genre (based on one album) to DIs Pater which is doing something different.
It sounds childish and does not make sense to me, it is like comparing Summoning to Brutal Death and to say: "Summoning has the biggest anyway!"
