I bought it last week. Used it on a tri-tip and copycat OG zuppa Toscana. It gave both a kick. I’m not big on spicy, but it just took the flavor up a notch. I’d become addicted to their jar of Herbes du Provence and this is like a spicy, Italian version. I may have to horde a few jars if it’s seasonal. Great price, too, since it’s much bigger than the other spices. As for the soup, I’m sure it would be great with smart ground or mushrooms and beans. I’ll probably make it with kale for myself. Cream could be omitted.

Those newspaper baskets are great to fill with items for gift giving. Last year, I filled them with yummy stuff from TJs, slapped ribbons on them, and my friends were thrilled. A nice change from woven baskets or gift bags.
I second this! It taste like the dipping oils they serve at CPK. I also put it in my spaghetti sauce. I got it in the spice set last year & bought more. I hope it stays & is not seasonal or I need to buy a couple more jars!

I think the soffritto seasoning came out last year in a smaller bottle as part of a spice trio that was packaged together in holiday confection. Soffritto is used a soup starter and I've used it to make minestrone so I can attest it's really good. I think it would be great in pasta sauce.
The Aloha rolls are just like "Hawaiian" rolls and are delicious, on their own with butter or a spread, or when used to make mini sandwiches! We also love them as an accompaniment to cheesy casserole dishes!
I cannot wait to get those gingerbread sandwich cookies...they look amazing!! I hope they stick around for a minute. Also, love the treatment on your staircase....so lovely. Love the twinkling lights, too....i haven't seen those type of twinkle lights before. Have a great Thanksgiving!

I think I would use that sofrito seasoning on roasted vegetables. I may look for it next time and grab it for my son as a stocking stuffer, as he is just getting into cooking.

You had wondered what to do with kimchee(kimchi), you can also make Kim chee fried rice( a local fav in Hawaii); also take a bowl of rice; top with assorted Asian veggies( sautéed in sesame oil, like watercress, bean sprouts,carrots, green onion,, and Kim chee. Top with a fried egg; some gochujang and mix it up all together and eat. Called Bi Bim bap in Korean.
I used the sofritto seasoning in a few different ways but the best way was using it in pizza dough! Also it’s way better using it in a way where the seasoning gets hydrated so you can fully taste the flavors.
Baked Lemon Ricotta Cheese gets eaten with itself in my house. We gobble that up...after all it is cheesecake and delicious. We eat it with coffee. And that hand cream trio is terrific...one in the bag, one by the bed, and one in the kitchen. As far as the Soffrito, I use it in rice, pasta sauce, on baked potatoes, and on eggs. Like all of the other TJ seasoning blends it is yummy. Those Mega kiwis are delicious. Have not seen the Wintry Blend coffee yet and it worried me...so glad it will be available...it is a tradition at our house. I drink it all Winter long after dinner. Looking forward to the taste test with Tim and Brandon.

I finally saw the garlic naan crackers back at my store today and grabbed last 2 of the 3 left on shelf...I was just regretting not getting the last one also! I also got the winter time teas and it smells so good just from the box and I can’t wait to try it tomorrow! BTW, white truffle potato chips have been around all year at my TJs.

Update on two seasonal beverage items--on a down note, the holiday K-Cups, which are a 20-pack of 5 flavors, are not back this year. But on a happy note, the Winter Sangria Sparkling Water is back, and going very quickly. It's name is deceptive, tastes more like blood orange than sangria.
Going to TJ’s this weekend and definitely looking forward to it. We plan to get all the Honey Crisp Apple sparkling juices we can lol...and some other goodies I discovered from your last haul. The cheese sounds interesting; may pick that up as well.

The new Soffritto blend sounds so similar to a spice blend I used to get through Tastefully Simple. I’m excited to try and compare. If it’s the same, I would use on spiral zucchini noodles with Parmesan cheese or pizzas, pasta, and baked chicken.

Add extra virgin olive oil to the Soffritto seasoning, and then dip bread in it. It’s incredible!!!

The Maryland Oil is just as good as The Ordinary and the Almond Oil body wash very close to L’Occataine en Provence original.

hey katie, Im looking for sundried tomatoes that are not canned in oil. Do you by any chance know if that sort of thing is seasonal or not?
They are around all year (the ones in the bag). Usually they are near the pasta or sauces and in a clip strip.
