Agree, check if screen is clogged. Price sounds outrageous! Would review ingredients. Research; could mix a batch at fraction $. ** Do video using vinager!!! Believe used vinager 50 yrs ago for boat. Old methods seem tried and true!
Hi there. In the directions they say you have to clean the inlet screen, I guess that the filter. Any suggestion on how to clean it? I tried with vinegar but still really sticky. Does it clean itself during the flush ? Thanks
So I just went to look at my water heater. It is a brand called Navien. It seems to have those diverter valves. But I am going to have to do the RTFM routine to find out about its maintenance. I've been here 3 months already, so if it's a every-6-months kind of thing, well, it'll be a springtime project. I guess this kind of work ties in with keeping the toilet bowl clean too. Thank you giving me a heads-up on the project.
Once a year, unless you have extremely hard water and just use cleaning vinegar, way cheaper and does just as good a job. Just make sure to flush your pump good with water as well as the heater.
The unit replaces a standard water heater. It heats the water on demand. In this video, we went descaled the unit. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 🙂 👍
@@Jeffreviews4u oh wow that’s sick man ! Thank you so much for clarifying for me ! I’m not that sharpest tool In the shed but you explained very well ! Good shi Jeff !🙏🫡
I once considered a tankless water heater. I found out that I would have to have a larger natural gas line and a larger natural gas meter. I would also need a whole house water conditioner to take the minerals and scale from the city water. I decided not to go that route. After all that I called the plumber and he installed a State Brand commercial 40 gallon natural gas water heater for $ 650.00. It should last about 12-15 years.
Thank you for showing this. It worked like a charm. I didn't descale mine for 10 months and wow... it was gross. Thanks again!
If you have no outflow issue, check the "Filter Screen Assembly". Filter could be clogged and cleaning filter screen is very easy.
