Kia ora from New Zealand! I've watched a few of your videos now & have found them very logical and helpful to re-structure my thesis which draws together a large volume of complex ideas. Very helpful! I wish I had found it sooner as it would have saved a lot of time. I will share with my collogues / department / uni :) Thanks so much!

Are there any video or tips about full day/week organisation for phd student? Because currently I have to organise myself to running experiments, writing papers, writing thesis, reading new papers, learn some new stuff for the future. Also it would be nice to not become mad and have some other life too.

In a word, prioritise. You can't do all these things well if you're doing them all at the same time. Maybe take a day or two to just focus on finishing a paper, or to focus on the current experiments. I'd also say that if you're still doing experimental work, I'd say don't worry about writing the thesis right now- get the data first!
Also, if you're overloaded right now, just learn the stuff you need right now!
Regarding having some other life, make this a priority. Pick a couple of nights a week just for you or to spend time with friends/ family/ partner and stick to it no matter what. Relationships are the bedrock of life, not something to work on if you get the time.

Why are psychologists some of the worst academic writers? You would think they would know better any one else not to overload and bamboozle readers with superfluous details, but they often do. I accept that might be seen as a sweeping statement, but in my experience, there are very few who write clearly, or write well. Oh and they certainly have some of the biggest egos in science generally.
